Werdum IMO would beat Nog. He is better than Nog on the ground watch the first fight if you don't believe me Werdum actually took his back during the fight.
Now the first time they fought Nog was so clearly better standing that he won the fight easily however Werdum has improved a ton standing since starting to train at an actually gym and I think he would be able to get Nog down and win a UD with his grappling.

He hasn't done much in the way of improving since his loss to him in 2006

His striking, for one, has improved a lot. His ground game was already tops, but his striking is really looking better and he's setting up his takedowns better.

Werdum took down Vera twice that's something he defiantly couldn't have done in 06.

I think Nog looked beatable against both of those guys actually. You had two guys with good standup, who both had Nog in trouble. Herring highkicked him, then let the fight slip away, Tim was turning Nog into 220lbs of ground beef for about 10 minutes.
A good standup guy who won't let Nog get them down, or let Nog clinch and pull guard has an excellent chance to beat Nog, by decision mind you, because that guy's chin and heart are insane.

I see Arlovski beating Barnett...

While Nog/Werdum would be a great fight and one I really want to see, I think Nog would come out on top with the UD.

Heath Herring has good stand-up? Since when?
You also seem to forget that Nogueira is a good striker himself. Way, way, way better than Heath freakin' Herring.

Another year of training...Id be inclined to say Lesnar.
Of course, if he got cocky and didnt train, then it would never happen.
Id rather watch Lesnar v Couture though...

Uh how has he not done much in the way of improving? That is a really, really weird thing to say. You don't think moving to Chutebox camp and working his stand up significantly isn't a way to improve?
