A good standup guy who won't let Nog get them down, or let Nog clinch and pull guard has an excellent chance to beat Nog, by decision mind you, because that guy's chin and heart are insane.
The only thing heath did in his fight was land that head kick, nothing else. Watch some more Nog fights and you will see he gets knocked down a lot and ends up submitting them.

By the way Nog's only losses are by Decision.

Hell I think there are a ton of heavy weights out there that could beat nog right now. He looks slows and punch drunk. Tim sylvia beat the crap out of him in their fight, I see a lot of guys posing problems for big nog.

It's hard to tell if Nog is better than he was then
That topic alone is good (better jitz Nog or werdum?) IMO nog is better in mma Hes still good after 15 minutes and him and his opponents are soaked! When he subed Crocop and Sapp he was almost dead! LOL

The first round of Sylvia vs Nog was Tim kicking Nog's ass, but their second and third rounds weren't ass kickings. It's not like he was getting completely smashed and just got a takedown and subbed Tim. Nog landed his fair share of punches and was able to figure Big Tim out. Sure, he ate punches himself, but it wasn't like Fedor vs Nog 1 but with a sub ending.

Agreed. There is pretty HUGE difference bitween Jiu-Jitsu and "MMA Jiu-Jitsu". Take Matt Serra for example: Extremely talented Black belt under Renzo Gracie, yet he isn't really known for his submission wins on MMA. His Submission defense how ever has perfect record and even Penn failed to do it. 19/31 wins of Nog are by submission and I can't think of a guy with better "MMA Jiu-Jitsu" than him.
While Werdum might be technical enough to not get submitted by Nog, his Standup is far from as effective as Nog's and I would bet on either KO on 3rd round by nog, or UD for Nog.

So yes, I agree there is no-one in UFC that can beat Nog yet. Give Brock a year or 2 and he might, though.

So so true, and so wrong. TUF is gay. Do they really need coaches to hype the season up? If there are good fights or even decent ones Ill watch.

I'm sure that I'll catch some sh*t for this but like I've said before, I believe that Mir poses a real challenge for Nog.

Nog would beat Werdum,Gonzaga and Kongo IMO and those guys would beat Mir but I think that Mir has a chance against Nog. Call me crazy but I do.

Nog has great jitz from his guard and is more accomplished obviously but he lacks a game form side control and his wrestling stinks. Mir is a decent wrestler and if he is able to control the positioning I could see him posing problems with his side game. Mir has more explosive subs when he grabs something and that could pose some problems for Nog.

Mir isn't passing Nog's guard. If he can lay on Nog and get him tired maybe he can post a threat, but I got Nog all day.
