its sad but true. No matter what his legacy will stand he was without a doubt the best WW of all time but i think his time is over and he knows it.

Its very true, Hueghs is just not as well rounded as the younger fighters!!

And i really hope Serra beats him, i may be the only one rooting for the fight to go this way but oh well i like me some Serra. I'd actually like to see him move back to 155!

It will only be such a stand out achievement to hardcore fans though. When you think about the amount of TUF/casual fans, they will only have really seen his downfall & remember him as a lacklustre wrestler. Say for instance, GSP (or anyone for that matter) surpassed his 9x defence record? He'll be nothing more than a statistic to most.

Little did he realise how quickly he'd fall from his pedestal.
Even though I do prefer Serra over Hughes, it would be a tragedy to see him end such a career like that. So I'm actually rooting for Hughes here.

Not so much!

It's a shame that he acts like such a poo-butt, bitter, sore loser instead.

"Best" WW of all time? No. Most dominant during his prime? Maybe, we'll see what GSP has to say about it.
