HW- Obviously the worst.. not many big names with the departure of arlvoski, crocop, and sylvia and couture.
LHW-Stacked with a lot of big names.
MW- Stacked also with a lot of good names(although many think that the MW division is weak. No, it's just that Anderson Silva is at another level than everyone else).
WW- Stacked as well, with a lot of good guys.
LW- the most exciting fights are in the LW division and it is stacked!!!!!

yeah, the HW division needs a whole lot of fixing. but all the other weight divisions are fine and have a lot of guys that can make big draws.

yeah, the HW division needs a whole lot of fixing. if you take a look at the hw's in TUF, then it's clear as day that the UFC is not doing what they need to do because all the hw's on the new tuf are no-namers! but all the other weight divisions are fine and have a lot of guys that can make big draws.

I agree with you the HW division is just horrible. The LHW division is exciting cause anyone of the fighters in that division can be champ. MW is also good but A. Silva is just too damn good. WW i feel tat they have alot of good fighters but i don't see any of them beating GSP anytime soon. LW is Stacked BJ might be able to hold that title for a while but i think KEnflo would give him a massive good fight..

Yeah, I agree with all of it for the most part.

The HW division is terrible, really. Nog should be able to rule the division for a long, long time.

LHW is stacked, Shogun is making his way back up soon(yay), Machida, Thiago, Wanderlei, etc, all working hard for a shot.

MW... Well... Anderson Silva, the end.

Now, WW has been highly discussed lately with the whole 'B.J moving up in weight' thing going on. WW has very few contenders right now, so it'll be interesting to see where it goes.

LW = B.J penn, Florian, Sherk, Griffin, Huerta, Edgar, Maynard, God... The list goes on forever.

I'm a big fan of the LHW division. I think that it has the potential for the most exciting fights and has the stiffest competition. Also the LHW are big boys with big power while still small enough to maintain good cardio and push the action.

Next best division for me is WW, I love the athleticism in this division. I hope to see GSP dominate for a long long time over a very talented division.

HW sucks so I won't even go there.....next!

Other than HW my least favorite division right now is LW, mainly because I see BJ as the champ for quite some time but only defending the title every 8 months while he wastes his time and energy chasing glory in divisions he doesn't belong in. I would be back onboard with the LW division if BJ got his ass kicked though. Somebody with some class would be great as champ in that division.

MW is a good division for me. Silva dominates but I don't care, he's a great champ. Classy and humble while being a straight up savage! I love some of the possible match ups in this division aside from him so it keeps me on my toes.

It seems like the UFC is trying to grow the HW division slowly with young talent, hopefully it works because at the moment, this is the weakest division.

LHW right now is the best division. It's stacked with high end talent who are capable of beating eachother on any givin night. Forrest Griffin, Rampage, Lidell, Wandy. Thiego Silva, Machida, Shogun, Sokky, Vera, Rashad, Jardine, maybe Franklin.......Are you freakin kiddin me!! Thats a stacked up division:praise01:

I really like the MW division, sure Silva is unbeatable but there is still a ton of talent that's just a cut beneath him. Hendo, Franklin, Maia, Marquardt, Kampmann, Bisping, Cote, Leban and Leites round out a very strong 185. Not too long ago the MW division was absolute crap,(like the current HW division), They did a really good job on this, hopefully they can do the same for the HW division.

WW is always a fun division, but there is no real competition for GSP aside from Penn at the moment, Hughes isn't the same fighter he once was, but there are still some entertaining fights to be seen.

LW division is alot of fun and loaded with talent, BJ, Sherk, Florian, Huerta, griffin, Maynard, Edgar, Emerson, Franca, Nate Diaz, Rich Clementi. Alot of good fighters.

UFC is looking pretty good these days:thumb02:

HW-Noone atm can touch Nog. The division is lacking.
LHW-I hate to admit it but Forrest is likely to get beaten in his first title defesne.
MW-Noone can beat Silva. The divison is good but Silva vs anyone is getting rather repetitive.
WW-Georges St. Pierre can be beaten but I think he can hold onto the belt for at least a few more defenses. I like the division, the fighters are quick enough and have some KO power.
LW-Noone can touch Penn they really need to get some more LW's from other organizations in there.

LHW, WW, LW divisions are strong.

MW used to be seen as weak- but is pretty strong these days- hopefully Lawler, Cung Le, Filho are bought in to further strengthen the div.

The HW division is not awful- sure it isnt as deep as the LHW or WW or LW- but there is hope in Lesnar and Valasquez.
Nogeria is a good champ and guys like Gonzaga and Werdum are very solid fighters.
When there was only Tim Sylvia and Arlovski- then it was awful- i think its slowly building. They should have never let Arlovski go- should have shown faith.

Well the HW division may not be looking so hot on TUF, because the only two HW's on it are Mir and Nog. Pretty sure the show is LHW and LW, which doesn't make too much sense as it is their two deepest divisions. It would have been much better to make it HW for one of them at least.

HW= Needs work. They have some up and comers, but they need someone who can challenge NOG now.

LHW= All the best LHW fight in the UFC. It is absolutely stacked.

MW= Very hard to tell that they have so many great MW, because Silva keeps destroying them all. Outside of Lindland and Lawler their not missing anyone, since WEC is planning on closing down their MW division, and Filho will soon be in the UFC.

WW=Possibly the second best division in the UFC. It is stacked from top to bottom. Shields is really the only guy I think they need.

LW= I agree they do have great fights in this division, and they have the #1 LW in the world. They don't have a majority of the best fighters in this division. Gomi, Alvarez, Hansen, Aoki, Kawarji, Thomson, and Melendez all fight outside of the UFC. This is why BJ wants to move up to fight GSP. There is no challenges left for him at 155 in the UFC.
