Chuck is different now, he's won since Couture so he hasn't gone the distance in some time. He's also a 1 trick pony, "granted its a great trick" but Wanderlei is more rounded and just as capable of the KO. Plus coming off of his losses Wandy has learned some things. The way things seem to be going id doubt the fans are going to get this fight anyway.

...shootboxer....Bingo!. comment about Chuck Liddell. He does punch from odd angles with uppercut & hook counters. With that KO Power & best takedown defense included...?...I'm actually gonna feel Bad for Tito in December, cause he's gonna get busted up again...maybe worse. Chuck is gonna keep Tito up on his feet, tee-off like Tiger Woods. Chuck connects once... Tito will feel it, and can Tito's chin handle Chuck's golden right hand? Question of the

Wanderlei Silva by TKO strikes, he would light Chuck up no doubt

Silva learned from the Belfort fight to come in with his hands or to receive his opponents with his hands. And contrary to popular belief he's watching what he's doing even though he's swinging wildly. Watch some of his exchanges in slow-mo and you'll see him scoring vicious shots by countering...something you can hardly do while closing your eyes.

Problem is he attacks in straight lines, as does most of his opponents thus making his style that much more effective as it's harder to catch someone cleanly who's moving laterally.

If being faced with a tornado coming straight at you, survival 101 says to run at right angles to it and not straight from it. Fighting is no different when someone is attacking you head on.

This is one advantage Liddell has over Silva is his patience and movement to counter. Or....this could work against him as Chuck is not particularly fast on his feet when moving and an opponent moving away seems to incite Silva to be more aggressive...well that and getting hit.

...Shootboxer...that was an excellent post about Chuck & Wanderlei. Well written..and food for thought. Most everybody agrees that they can KO each question. The Exchanges are inevitible. I guess it kinda boils down to 2 things: Who's got the tougher chin & who gets in that 1 punch which changes everything.
