What's it like to be "punch" drunk??
 

To the fighters out there - I've always wondered what goes through a fighter's mind when he's been whacked with a good one? Do you actually feel pain or is it more like you're disoriented .. running on adrenalin? How much is fighting on instinct or do you have most of your faculties still intact? How quickly do you recover usually and how do those rubber legs feel?? I'll never forget the look in Rich's eyes when he ate that first knee from Silva on his chin .. He never fully recovered

you feel disoriented... your legs.. well lets just say you dont even know you have them at the time haha

naw im not but....ive been in many street fights and i know what its like to get rocked lol

i have a lung disease... i only have half of each lung.. it would only take 1 kick to the ribs to end my life...

i think ill pass on MMA.. although i enjoy watching it very much and have been since i was 13

........

haha yea.. as long as i eat, breathe and sleep.. i will be following and watching the MMA circuit :)

This reminds me of Goodridge talking about getting hit by Vovchanchyn before his(Goodridge's) fight with Nogueira.

I still remember one UFC fight where someone was KO'd like out cold and when he woke up he was screaming at his corner ... "what the **** happened?"
