if we are talking purely the UFC.... well no, not even then. it may end up as the biggest draw but i think ortiz vs liddell was the " biggest " in all aspects not just the draw

I still think Cro Cop/Fedor was the biggest fight in MMA history, either that or Fedor/Nogueira 1.

I thought Jackson-Lidell 2 is the biggest one ever, but I'm starting to think I'm the only one who feels this way. Griffin-Lidell would be up there with Randy-Brock also

UFC 52 Card overall is one of the best if not 'the best' UFC cards ever. And Randy vs. Chuck 2, the co-main event of that card sold tons as it was the hyped up rematch following the insanely successful TUF season 1.
So about best card ever with one of the biggest and hyped up rematches ever with lots of new viewers thanks to TUF season 1. I would say UFC 52 is pretty high on both ticket & PPV sales and on "card quality".

When judging sales only I stick with my previous post though; Randy vs. Brock will be the new #1.

I would have to say that this is definitely not the biggest fight in MMA history. Gracie vs Sakuraba as far as I'm concerned.

The thread title says "biggest fight in MMA history" so I think I'm okay lol.

If we're talking about a marketing/revenue perspective, this IS the biggest fight in MMA history. However, this bout hardly has the significance that say Nogueira/Fedor or Fedor/Cro Cop had to the hardcore fan.
