Is this the biggest fight in mma history?

Randy v Brock imo is the biggest fight in mma history simply because of both of their popularity. Couture is returning to the octagon and is extremly popular as a result of his legendary status and the fact that he was on the ultimate fighter first season and he is up aginst a guy who is the most known fighter in mma due to his wwe background and i have a feeling this will have the highest ppv sales in ufc history. I personally cant wait for this fight and i believe it could take ufc to the next level in terms of new fans tuning in

It might be. Until Lesnar vs. Fedor and I expect IF that fight ever happens(i'm sure thats the DANA plan) it may not only break all records but will stand for a LONG TIME.

I actually think Brock vs. Randy will sell quite a bit more than Randy vs. Fedor will. Lesnar is huge name to casual fans, while Fedor isn't. Its easy to hype Fedor-Randy fight as biggest fight in the MMA history, but Return of Randy vs. "the next big thing" of MMA has pretty nice sound on it too and will draw huge amount of both die hard MMA AND casual MMA fans. I just don't see Fedor selling as much as Lesnar basically.

Both will be awesome fights, but I don't see casual MMA fans being as interested about Fedor as they'll be about Lesnar, because to these casual fans MMA = UFC.

I would say that from an MMA fan's point of view it's not the biggest fight, but from a pure potential for PPV buys this is one that's going to be hard to beat.

This one is going to get a lot of people to tune in just for the Media coverage that it's getting. I just hope that it doesn't end up in a five round dry humping by Lesnar and it brings in more fans then it turns away.

I wouldn't say THE biggest fight, but definetly one of the biggest ones.

Brock clicks with casual fans almost better than Randy (and possibly even more) and lets face it, no casual fan wants to pay to see Randy get humiliated and destroyed by Fedor. Against Brock it would be an exciting back-and-forth match, but there's no chance of beating Fedor. I think that's what the UFC's plan was all along, to put on an exciting match with 2 big names instead of watching a rather unknown fighter (in the eyes of the casual fan of course) in Fedor versus Randy. It would make the UFC look bad, Randy look bad, and it wouldn't draw as much.

As an MMA fan, nope. But if I were running a company or looking at PPV buys and marketing, then of course.

To this day I think Tito vs. Chuck 1 was the biggest fight in MMA history.

It depends on the country. Fedor vs crocop was a big deal in japan, similar to couture/lesnar.

HowWePlay_77 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Honestly...I never thought Lesnar was that big of a draw!

Seriously, when I heard this match up I was puzzled. The only audience outside of the regular MMA fans I thought Lesnar draws is the WWE fans. I never knew he was that big to be part of the biggest match or PPA in MMA history.
