I wish you would have made this poll a public poll so I can see who all voted for it to be Couture vs Mir. Oh yeah I chose Couture vs Nog. At first I was going with Lesnar to win, but its Captain America and he will pull through

Nog has never been finished in a fight, let alone getting sub. Mir has a better chance of knocking nog out than subbing him.

Nog vs Lesnar will be extremely interesting. I think Lesnar will take the title.

No, Mir has no chance of winning. Period.

I know people say...never write off a fighter, and I stand firmly behind that "law," but this is a case where I will let it slide. Mir has ZERO chance. Whether it ends by sub, KO, TKO, Decision, it will be terribly one sided. And no, Mir attempting a sub does not mean that it was close.

He has a chance. Saying he has a zero percent chance is stupid and ignorant and also an impossibility. Their is a non-zero chance I could step on the octagon with Nog, running away because he's Nog and I'm just a scrawny black guy, a bored fan throws a banana peel into the octagon which I slip on a and the resulting slip kicks Nog right in the jaw and knocks him out. You may have been using hyperbole, but it was certaintly didn't sound too smart.

Big Nog defeats Mir via darce choke.

Lesnar defeats Couture via shooting star press.

Big Nog defeats Lesnar via heel hook.

Taking sig bets now.

Im not even a huge Randy fan, but I dont see any of them beating him. I expect Randy to ground and pound Nog like Fedor except he can use elbows. Not good for Nog.

Nog is too good for Mir.

Randy is too savvy and well rounded for Lesnar. He will dirty box and outstrike Lesnar to a late round TKO win.

I think the Nog Mir fight is a little obvious. Nog has better stand up. Mir's claim to fame is his ground and submission game. But it's not up to par with Big Nog.

I think Brock has a lot of physical advantage, but I have to go with experience. Also Brock has very little submission skills. I believe if Randy gets taken down, that he will be able to give up his back and roll out.

I hope this is the case, because I think Nog vs Couture could be the best UFC heavyweight title fight ever.

Mir is huge underdog in that fight, but I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being the first person ever to finish Nog either. Nog isn't getting any younger.
Nog has better subs and stand up though, so Mir most likely gets KOed or subbed. Saying he has zero chance, even to win by UD is stupid. Remember this isn't Pride and Nog spending couple rounds on his back trying to sub Mir while taking some weak'ish G&P wont result with Nog winning. In UFC Mir could win by UD just by staying on top doing some weak G&P, although I don't see how he can do that vs. Nog for 5 rounds without getting sweeped or subbed.

Sooo... Zero chance, no. Low chance, yes :P
