Neer's a beast. Hes not gonna tire himself out punching Nate in the face like Pellegrino did. Im looking for a 2nd round TKO by Neer. Hes gonna use solid clinch work against the fence standing and some solid GnP from up top to work Nate down.

I don't think it's that much of a step back for Nate. Neer does hold a nice win over Din Thomas.
no, not a huge step back because, honestly, I have never thought Nate was all that great but Nate is currently undefeated in the UFC and it seems that the UFC should have put him against a Stevenson, Huerta, Guida, Florian, Griffin, Edgar, ......you see where I am going with this.

Neer has a win over Din Thomas. umm...okay.

I am still looking forward to the fight. I just don't think it really helps Nate's career any. If anything, it puts Neer on the map if he pulls a win.

Not quite sure what this means, but Din Thomas is a solid fighter, who was seen as a potential LW title contender. That was a really good win for Neer, and better than Diaz's wins over Manny, Robinson and Junior.

You're right dude. My bad.

I guess I see the TUF finales and UFN in the same light.

I knew the scrambles would be nice during Diaz vs. Neer. That's the ground battle I wanted. I was satisfied with this fight for sure.

I did about as well as you two. Got 54 points on mmaplayground. McFedries and Alexander ruined it for me though. Thought it was going to be a night for punchers. Should have known better.

Diaz impressed me with how slick he was, but it also completely amazed me that he seemed to not know what to do when he was on top. Almost everytime he got on top Neer just sorto of pushed him off. He seemed more comfortable on the bottom trying to get a triangle while being punched in the face than he did on top trying to secure and arm. His sub defense was excellent and he proved once again that the likelyness to sub him is extremely low, let alone he will probably black out or let you break a limb instead of tapping. For once I can say his striking looked improved, but he clearly through his punches without any real intent behind them and he doesn't seem to quite know how to use his reach advantage yet. If he can learn like his brother did then he could really add some new dimensions to his game.

Finally Nate sounds like the special ed kid of the UFC. Seriously when he talks I feel like he should have his own bus that takes him from his house to the cage and back.
