To be honest this hasn't crossed my mind until now. Would be a pretty badass bout I think I might have to give it to Rich because he mixes things up really well.

I would always go with the Iceman but i believe he is just ready for Retirement. So i would have to pick Ace in this fight.

I'd love to see this fight whether or not they would give Chuck such a top level fighter at the moment is up for debate but if it happened I'd take Rich

Go out with a bang.

Rich is a badass, no doubt. But I would much rather see Liddell vs. A. Silva.

This is a Win/Win for the UFC.

If Chuck loses to Silva, the p4p best gets more hype, and Chuck goes out against the top guy in the sport; nothing to be ashamed of.

If Chuck wins, the UFC gets their poster boy back into title contention, without feeding him cans. A. Silva returns to the MW scene and continues to destroy the competition.

Aside from the benefits for business, this would be a great match-up stylistically. Two stand-up fighters with KO power toe to toe.

Thoughts?

Always supporting:
Forrest
Machida
Wandy
Velasquez

Anderson Silva vs. Jon Jones is the best match-up the UFC has ever been able to arrange. Here's to hoping it goes down.

I just dont think Chucks name means as much now for Silva.. I think Silva could handle most of the people chuck recently lost to fairly easy.

Not arguing that Silva couldn't beat Jardine and Evans, but Chuck's name means more than most fighters. Even after the last few losses, Chuck Liddell is synonyms with MMA in the US.

On top of that, MMAth doesn't mean anything.

Evans - Ortiz = Ortiz won in the eyes of most
Liddell - Ortiz = TKO x2 for Liddell
Wandy - Jardine = DONT #$%#ing BLINK
Jardine - Liddell = Blink the whole fight
Wandy - Liddell = That fight gets more replay on my DVR than Skinimax.

Styles make fights, and this would be exciting. Silva takes it, but a great match-up either way.

Rich would pick Chuck apart with kicks and then go on to stop him. I'd rather see Henderson vs Franklin at 205.
