I am not taking away the number of fights.. IF ... Randy is going to to go down that way, I'd rather see him go down against someone that fights the way he does...
right now Evan is on SPIKE so CYA
OH AND ... if you are good and YOU and are an underdog in that fashion.... give me more details... I believe in the underdog and fighting for what you deserve

Man even though I excluded him people are still talking about Brock! I guess I should have worded things differently.
Anyways, I agree with Michael Bisping! When Chris Leban said he thinks a win over Michael Bisping would catabault him to elite level status I sort of critized that. Really, Bisping hasn't fought anybody worthwhile in the UFC (unless you count Rashad Evans). Couple of posters then started telling me that they thought Bisping was a top UFC MW even though he has only two fights into that division.

That goofy karate guy from WCL who fought one fight in I think the UFC and got absolutely destroyed by a middle of the pack journeyman. He was supposedly udefeated in karate tournaments and was undefeated in WCL but just got it handed to him in the cage. Wish I could remember the guys name.

Brock has been working on his Jiu Jitsu and his striking for a good couple of years now. It was pretty commonplace for fighters skilled in one area to have less experience in another, training purely to compete in MMA. Do you think Randy was an all rounder when he started?
Yes, he was given a leg up on the strength of his name alone, but lets not forget that the HW division in UFC was getting pretty low on numbers, and with his physical appearance alone, that would have given him an advantage marketing wise as well. Even his fight with Frank Mir showed that he is explosive and entertaining to watch.

Ken Shamrock when he came back to fight Tito at UFC 40. He wasn't even in Tito's league and he proved it with 3 beatings.
