Nog? Really?

Was I the only one who watched that big stiff Sapp tombstone his a$$? If Sapp wasn't so slow in body and brains, he would have won it right there. Lesnar would have literally broken him in half.

Lesnar will destroy Nog, it wont make it past the first round.

I don't understand why people want to call this a HW Tourny. Randy has the HW belt and will have a title defense. Nog has the interim HW belt and will have a title defense against Mir. The belts will then be united in a fight.

Anyway, I see Nog taking the "actual" HW belt home with him at the end of all of this. Mir is gonna be more of a test for him then people seem to think, and then I see him subbing Lesnar at anypoint in a fight and beating Randy by UD.

I vote Couture because that's what I want to happen, and I know that Randy has the talent to do it. He's my prediction.

Lesnar will destroy Nog until Nog gets him in a triangle puts him to bed, sings him a lullabye and then celebrates with his boys in the center of the Octegon. Minatauro is on a whole other level than Brock, Brock might have size and strength, but he will have no answer for Nogs submission game, Nog is also a much more polished striker.

Lesnar's will want to take Nog down and he will, that will be Lesnar's demise.

Brock over Nog via crushed spine, if Sapp can tombstone him, Brock will turn him into a hand puppet.

If Randy beats Lesnar he will win the tournament. If he loses then Nog will win. I'll elaborate more later.

Forum Bets: 2-0

Glad to see Nog is overwhelmingly the choice here as he should win both fights and earn the "real" title although IMO the "real" title is already around his waist.

On a side note its interesting to see that Randy will likely be the underdog against Lesnar...once again. And if he beats Brock will likely be the underdog again Nogueira...once again. The dude just loves being the underdog

lol, Brock is the big boy. I can see how it might be hard for some people to recognize since he's the only one.

I think I get why you guys are so deffensive of the vets, but you should be heralding Lesnar for taking MMA to the next level of mainstream acceptance.

It sure does take the piss out of the guys in the current HW devision, and maybe even the idea that technique is so much more important than strength and athletisism. Thats probably comforting for a lot of out of shape people I guess.

I get it, but those things don't change reality no matter how badly some people would like them to. And you shouldn't want it to change anyway, Brock is as exciting as guys like Tank and Kimbo, but hes for real too. Its gonna be big bssiness, and the whole sport is along for the ride.

Hey, I'm a Couture fan here, but after sitting out for a year, I don't think he will be as sharp against Lesnar. I am pulling for Randy, but I'd bet on Lesnar.

Mir, Huh? He hasn't been the same since his accident.
