Say what you want but I think Lesnar is going to destroy Couture.

Both Mir and Herring are larger then Couture, Couture has better wrestling then either one but that size difference is going to be huge. Neither Herring or Mir could contain Lesnar there is no way Couture will.

The only way I see Couture winning is through submission. And I think Lesnar is going to amaze us with how much better MMA he has developed since his fight with Herring. There was a huge difference in his skills between his Mir and Herring fights and I expect him to only be better. He is hungry and wants this big time and will be doing everything in his will to prepare for this fight.

The other thing that amazes me about Lesnar is his speed, he is faster then Couture really. Then there is his "Donkey Kong" ground and pound.

As for the Mir Nogueira. I have Nogueira coming out ahead in this one. Which imo will set up a very good match for the final. I can't wait to watch all this unfold.

I voted for Nogueira, but I think anyone can win. I'd give Nogueira 80-20 vs Mir and Lesnar 55-45 vs Randy.

Nog-Lesnar 70-30
Nog-Randy 60-40
Mir-Lesnar 50-50
Mir-Randy 30-70

So Nog gets the nod, but I woulnd't count out any of the other fighters, this is not Anderson Silva fighting.

Bob Sapp IS different from Brock: He was considered a dangerous STANDUP FIGHTER, and thus Nog wanted to take him down, not the other way around (which is what led to that awesome piledriver). And the Nog nnow is way better than the nog then IMO. It's been 7 years afterall...

Brock could win, we still don't know if he's the next "Fedor" or something, our in-data is not good enough yet. I will speak out more about Brock after his fight with Randy (although I do recognize him as a good heavyweight, destroying Herring and all).
I'm glad you mention Coleman, because the difference between Brock and Coleman is the exact reason he'll be champ at the end of this tourney. And people thinking Brock is the same as Coleman, (even though all real life experience suggests otherwise...) is why he's being under estimated.

And no, that piledriver was horrendous. I'm telling you, if Brock gets him in that possition he will end his life. It would be ironic as hell too, since everyone laughs at his pro wrestling career, if he litterally killed Nog for the championship by powerbombing him into two pieces.

I'm not expecting that to happen. What I do expect is complete physical domination for as long as Nog can stand it.

He's going to physically dominate Nog just like he did to Frank Mir right?

Lesnar's biggest weakness is the submission game, We know he can wrestle, we know he can hit hard, we know that he can take just about anybody down. We also know that Brock is a total n00b when it comes to sub defense. Nog is the best in the Biz when it comes to submissions. When Nog grabs a hold of you're leg, arm or neck, it's game over.

First of all no its not, it's not game over at all.

Start watching at 2:35 mins in, you'll see whats going to happen if Nog gets anywhere near Brocks arms. Yeah I know he eventually got Sapps arm, but thats cause Sapp had no gas left which isn't a concern for Lesnar.

Second, Brock is already way better than he was against Mir, he's calmed way down and basically adjusted his style to take the least amount of risk while using his physical dominance to maintain full control. Sounds like the perfect strategy to take out Nog no? He's had around 5 or 6 fold as much time in MMA matches now as he had when he fought Mir as well, and Mir is significantly stronger than Nog too.

I know Nog is looked at as the best sub guy around, but it's not going to be enough to save him this time.

We're probaby not going to agree at this point I don't think. Maybe after Brock beats Randy it'll look different to the doubters.

Edit: And thank you very much Terminator, gonna be fun watching Brock prove us right

I think it will result in Lesnar v Nog...Lesnar by decision. Lesnar landing more strikes on the ground, giving no opportunity for submission.

Although...I do have this hunch it will be Lesnar v Mir. And that is much more marketable from the UFC standpoint...they probably want it too.

and then we had blueberry pie...
