I wouldn't mind seeing Frank Mir beat Minatouro and become Champion! Would definitly show all the haters that Frank isn't some tomato can!

But realistically Nog takes this fight! Like it was stated before Frank's cardio is shit and even though I think Big Nog's boxing is overrated I think he is better then Frank Mir in that department. Also, I still wonder if Frank can take serious punishment knowing his habit of crumbling when the heat is on. Sure he has submitted people within a minute but you have to understand that some of them weren't that great (with the exception of Tim Sylvia).

Even so...

WAR FRANK MIR!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

i could seriously see Mir throwing up some aggressive submission from his back, Nog defending and using it to pass, and submitting Mir in the first round

I am a Mir fan but I am not sure about this fight yet, I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Mir win, but I have to go with Nog right now.

Big Nog is exactly what the best Frank Mir could become. I love Mir but I dont think he has a chance of winning this fight.. its just a terrible match-up for him.

I love the guy, but there is no way he will win imo.

Taking any sig bets from the Mir fans...

It never crashed! It just ran out of steam and now the fire started back up again!

I'll certainly be pulling for him against Nog to set up the rematch with Lesnar, heres hoping.

Even if he loses to Nog though, he's actaually in a good spot due to being the only guy to beat the champ. Once the HW tourney is over, Dana will be putting Mir against a can to make him look good enough to set up the rematch with Brock for the title.

Can the champ avenge his only loss!!? Or does Mir have the monster figured out!!? Tune in to find out, only on PPV!!!

Why do you assume Brock would beat Nog?

I think Brock will overwhelm him. Nog gets knocked around quite a bit, he was thrown around pretty good by Bob Sapp even.

He's been resiliant, but I think Brock will quickly push him past his breaking point. In Mirs metaphor about drowning, Brock would be a killer whale. He's beating Nog up, and he's not gassing, so he just keeps beating him up until he can't take it anymore.

Edit: heres the Mir qoute about fighting Nog I was refferencing, I thought it was this thread it was in at first.

"You just drown out there," Mir said of facing Nogueira. "It's almost like he's a shark -- and you're beating him up, you're beating him up -- and he's like, 'Yeah, but you're in the water. Eventually you're going to get tired, and I'm going to eat you.'"
