Frank Mir will get Nog in a guillotine, then DDT him Jake "The Snake" style.

frank will be on his back, throw up his legs for a sub, nog will easily shrug it off and pass his guard...and proceed to sub him within 1 round

Mir's gas tank is shit, his boxing sucks and his ground game isn't as good as Nog's. Nog by anything he wants.

It would be an upset for me if Nog beat Mir, tbh.

Frank is going to beat him in less than a minute with a tiger uppercut.

Let's see Mir's submission game isn't great. He's not a world class grappler.

He has subbed a lot of guys with bad submission defense.

Nog walks through him unlike Serra vs GSP I don't see a way Mir can win.

Before UFC 88 I would have agreed with you, but after seeing Rashad KO Liddell when I gave him ZERO chances of winning, I wouldn't be surprised to see Mir beat Nog somehow in spectacular fashion.

As much as I love Nog, stop acting like Nog is invincible. Don't get me wrong as I, too, am picking Nog, but seriously...

Mir could win. Will he? Doubtful. But stop pretending he doesn't stand a chance.

The evans-liddell fight has no bearing on mir noguiera. evans was the better boxer who had quicker hands, and basically knocked out liddell while landing 1 punch in 2 rounds. if i were handicapping the tourney, nogueira would be the overall favorite, and i see him submitting mir early.

Nah, I knew Rashad was going to beat Chuck. Rashad had ways to win, while Frank Mir really doesn't. His cardio has always sucked, his striking isn't good and his ground game isn't as good as Nogueira's. Nog has beaten better grapplers.
