The only way I see Mir winning is somehow getting into a dominating position, something like this:

-Mir and Nog clinch against the cage
-Nog tries to throw knees, but falls over
-Mir lands in side control or half-guard
-With Nog pressed against the cage (arm trapped?), Mir lands a flurry of weak punches and Dan Miragliotta stops the fight

That's just about the only way I see Mir winning. I give Mir about a 15% chance of winning because personally I don't think that the above situation is that unlikely. Mir isn't a dumb fighter, I'm pretty sure he would know his situation. All it takes is a flurry of punches on Nog for a referee stoppage (everyone except Yves Lavinge, best ref in the UFC).

Indeed, I don't think neither will sub the other, they're too good at BJJ. Well, maybe a strike that stuns the other fighter and allows a submission, but otherwise, it is highly unlikely. Nog by Decision or KO.

Mir brings a shotgun? I don't really know what you are trying to get at here.

This doesn't apply because Chuck is KO'able. So anyone has a chance to beat Chuck, something we call a puncher's chance. Like Serra vs GSP. Big Nog however, is NOT KO'able, so therefore he cannot lose. And realistically, there really isn't a "submissionist's chance" when it comes to MMA since it is MUCH harder to pull off a lucky submission. Thus, Big Nog wins by anything.

Not only will he not but i don't think he could. Mir is a great ground fighter but Nog is just on another level and he will prove it..
