From what I remember of the show Danzig was a really softspoken guy that would help lift the spirits of guys who were down. When someone would lose he'd help them out and talk to them, when someone was crazy he'd stop them from doing something stupid. I don't see why you guys hate him so much, he didn't make any racist comments or do an upper decker in someone elses toilet.

I agree he appeared level-headed and more mature than most of the kids on TUF; He also struck me as someone who thought he was better than others. His vegan aspect rubbed me wrong too when he went on about how gross eating animals was, as if he was better than that. Maybe I'm just remembering certain things, it was a while ago. But in the fight I'm gonna pick Clay over Mac. I can't stand Clay's hair, but his work ethic and past performances have gained my respect.

Those are your own interpretations of the situation. I don't eat mushrooms because I think they are disgusting, that doesn't mean I think I'm better than mushroom eaters. I could go on and on about how the consistency and texture of mushrooms is slimy and makes me sick, I don't see why anyone would take offence, it's just food.

I see your point, but don't make more out of my comments than they are. You'll notice that my first comment in the thread suggested that maybe they just made him out to appear arrogant. I don't know him, so it could be anything.

Sauted mushrooms are good.

I was talking more about the other guys on this board that so quickly jump to voice their hatred for the guy, and kind of used your post as a charicature for the argument people make so no disrespect. I personally think that the show presented him in a very humble manner and finding reasons to hate the guy is more of a reflection on the haters than it is on TUF or Danzig. Anyway I'm cheering Danzig all the way.

I'm going with the "upset" on here, picking Danzig by submission. I see triangle or arm bar.

You're just a cook...

I am looking for one of my top 3's, Clay Guida, to collect the W here. I am so damn excited to see clay fight tonight! Mac is a dangerous opponent, he is both patient and skilled. I think as long as Clay avoids giving up his back or giving up an arm, he will take this. WAR GUIDA!

I am taking Mac. He's an intelligent fighter and is going to pick his spot. He knows he's going to be on his back for the majority of this fight, and he'll be looking for the submission. He's tapped dudes that have better submission skills, and Guida doesn't look to big standing next to Mac.

TEAM LORD:
1. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
2. Nate Marquardt
3. Goran Reljic
4. Amir Saddolah

RANKING: TBA
TOTAL POINTS: +TBA

Give me a Mac Danzig over a................geeee i've forgotten their names they've disappeared so quickly, those douches we have every season who go on TUF to get their faces on TV and act the tough guy, who wants to be a "UFC fighter" without doing anything.
