Rich Franklin Looks Like Raccoon Following Hamill Fight

Following a hard fought battle with TUF 3 contestant Matt Hamill at UFC 88: Breakthrough in Atlanta, GA last weekend, Rich "Ace" Franklin looked a little more like Ricky Raccoon rather than Ace Ventura following the bout.

Franklin won the fight in the third round with an explosive liver kick that sent Hamill to the canvas in pain and followed that up with a couple shots to the head for good measure.

The picture comes from Franklin's official website

Don't remember him getting hit that much....

Mauricio "Shogun" Rua
Demian Maia

I loved that finish.

Kick to the livaahh!!

Demian Maia may be the Fred Astaire of jiu-jitsu, but it’s too bad Silva is the Gene Kelly of kicking everyone’s ass.

I think Rich just gets damaged easily. It would certainly explain how he looked after the silva fights. I am taking nothing away from the assbeating he took both times but I've seen people take worse and look better.

Haven't you guys been paying attention? Whenever rich has a fight or is even in training for a fight he seems to cop a black eye. I think he had a shiner before he even entered the ring!
