Well that's a plus. It's good to see people like McCain changing their minds about mma. He was beyond against it years ago but you can understand why in a way.

I've noticed this with much of my family as well.

Enough about Bush. Liberals need to buck up and quit running AGAINST Bush. Run FOR Obama. Acknowledge Obama's accomplishments and have that be your ammo. Not Bush being an inadequate President (Which I agree with).

And lets not forget that it's Congress and the Senate who actually run things in the government...both are currently Democratically led, and both are in single digits in popularity, half that of what Bush currently has.

McCain has definitely changed his stance on a few issues during the race, he's just trying to gain as much of the conservative vote as he can. But if you have been paying attention to what's going on the last year and a half, you would recognize that Obama has changed his stance on almost every issue you can think of so far.

I started out as a HUGE Obama fan when he first showed up, but now he confuses the hell out of me by always saying something different every time I watch him. The Obama at the beginning of this election is nothing like the Obama we have now.

Haha, no I'm just curious about whether he's ever been asked about it. I can't imagine Obama watching MMA.

I would think Obama would simply say, "I don't watch it, but it's non of my business."

Only conservative/republicans try to tell me what's morally right/wrong for ME to do.

I see this as McCain riding the fence as usual. I'm sure that nobody on this forum would vote for him if he came out still arguing for it to be banned.

All I can say is that if American decides to be retarded, again, and votes for another Republican president, I hope McCain is just putting on a show to get elected and that he is still the Moderate I used to like about 3 years ago. You know, before he had to get all crazy and conservative so as to try and win the presidency.

Here's a question to further hijack this thread...

I was recently turned down for a high level management job because I didn't have a strong enough management background in the field. You can't blame me...the salary was almost twice what I make right now, so I had to take a shot at it. I don't disagree with the decision THAT much, but it got me thinking about Obama.

We want this guy to be President, but how can we be guaranteed that he's not going to be as bad as Bush? All the news are talking about these days are Obama's background, and the more that unfolds the more I'm beginning to realize that he hasn't even so much as run a gas station or small business. He doesn't have any experience managing finances, personnel/human resources or government/emergency services.

I understand he's an "outsider" and all, but really...will he be able to keep us floating the next 4-8 years?
