I'm just getting fed up with these horrible split decisions. Ed Herman clearly won that fight, atleast to anyone who watched it. Belcher landed a few punches and kicks, but Ed had him down numerous times. He also had him in a few good submissions attempts. From now on, just give the split decision to the guy who's the least bloody.... I mean thats fair right? shit
Alan got lucky IMO he should have controled this or tried to finish this after the shots he delievered in the 2nd round. I could see it going either way- but in a fight so close I tend to go with the one who was in dominate position at the end. Herman was.

youre an idiot. Ed had nothing for him, he kept getting decked in the face and could barley take belcher down. the judges usually suck but ed got his ass whooped. hes not a good fighter at all.
yea call me an idiot.... about as mature as u can get. U joined the mma forum in sep 2008.. Prolly never spent a day of ur life practicing martial arts... just be quiete and let me speak my mind.
Hell yea war Diaz. He could be the biggest ass out of the ring, but once his mouth closes and he starts fighting, its like the perfect example of mma, lol.
29-28 for Herman. Gave the first round due to the takedown and close sub attempt, not to mention nice knees to Herman, Belcher won the second round by punching Herman in the face a bunch of times and Herman won the third by mounting Belcher.
Really good fight, though. Not really mad to see the Talent get the win. Herman's got a chin.
Can't say I am upset that Belcher won...being that he fights about a mile from where I graduated High School. I think he was dating one of my ex-girlfriends for a while too. BUt that was a terrible scoring. I mean is Cecil Peoples getting paid to ruin people's careers? The guy has absolutely no clue how to score an MMA match.
you guys are just herman fanboys. He had nothing for belcher, nothing but failed take downs and missed punches. Hes pretty weak IMO, not ready for the UFC.
It was a close and unimpressive fight, but it was also a fight that Herman decisively won. Terrible ruling. Was Cecil Dumbass in on this one? I forget.
Yeah he could of....could being the operative word. Fact of the matter, though is that he did not. And judging by what I saw, it was at least a 29-28 win for Herman.
Pretty good fight tonight. They both looked great and both showed improvement. I thought Herman kept his composure really well, especially in-between the crazy exchanges that were going on. Belcher gave some much deserved props to Herman after the bout:thumbsup:
