Man, Houston is REALLY stiff when he fights. Like he has a girder up his ass or something! It's hilarious watching him do anything, from being helples on the ground to KOing the hell out of Jardine! He's just so... tense.

Shafer by arm triangle? I was not at all surprised by that outcome

I don't about any of you peeps, but it's painful to watch Houston fight. The world's choppiest fighter who doesn't know how to get out of a mount.

Arm triangle chokes can also really hurt the neck, so it's not just the choke that makes you want to tap.

Seriously though, Houston could have done a lot better if he knew what the **** a guard was. As soon as Schafer took him down, he had no idea how to shrimp into at least half-guard.

If you are still unconscious at the end of a round and can't get up under your own power the ref is going to stop it regardless. Plus if he passed out with a few seconds left the ref would have picked up on it, simply by asking, "are you ok?" if alexander doesn't respond (verbally or with some sort of hand signal) then thats a stoppage, and we'd still be talking about how much alexanders ground game sucks.

sub fan has a little shameless behaviour in the past
I hope this guy is finally done in the UFC, send his ass to Affliction where his style might be effective against the old loser bunch over there.

Either that or go away and train for at least a year in some wrestling and Jist. If you can't beat someone like "The Red" you don't belong in the UFC.

I think the man is abit ignorant. He knows he has no ground game and his tdd is horrible. Why not work and improve on it? He can't rely on his stand up 100% of the time. Now that everyone knows if they have decent bjj and wrestling, they have a huge advantage over Houston.

I don't honestly see him trying to improve anything, if he wanted to, he would have one fight ago.

I agree, but in this case I think we all agree that he probably would still be awake when the round ended. Of course, I wasn't there and I'm not Houston, but in all honesty the choke looked somewhat loose/sloppy when I was watching it.
