Did anyone else notice Rogan and Goldie talk about Cung Le during the Lauzon fight? Rogan mentioned how only Cung le uses straight kicks in MMA and even Goldie elaborated on it saying how Cung Le has destroyed may opponents with kicks. I found it strange cos they dont usually talk about fighters not in the UFC, Rogan sometimes does but Goldie definitly does not. Wonder if he is on his way? I remember about a month ago that Cung metioned in an interview that the UFC hasapproached him with an offer (the same interview where he claims Anderson Silva cant beat asian guys cos they arent scared of him) Could be true!

I wouldn't be surprised. He's the strikeforce champ right? I thought Strikeforce was still doing ok.

Anyways, I would love to see Cung Le in the Octagon cause he is one of the most entertaining guys to watch in all of MMA.

Cung Le would be an insanely great addition to the UFC. Put him up against someone like Hendo " shiwers " in his first fight and you will see awsome defined.

on a more serious note.. i to read that thread ( http://www.mmaforum.com/ufc/41353-cu...-deal-ufc.html ) but there was never any follow-up on that so i think its just rumours for now.
i think though that rogan and goldie talking about him is a good sign cuz i remember in the velasquez vs o'brien fight when he ( rogan ) talked about Arlovski ( and how o'brien lost ) he kind of faded weirdly out of what he was talking about as if it wasnt allowed ( it could be coinsidence of course ) and therefore them talking so openly about Cung Le could be a good sign. However im pretty sure that news about Cung Le signing with the UFC would leak and to my knowledge we havent heard anything

I remember hearing that UFC and Stikeforce may work together. Scott Coker of Strikeforce is one of the few (if only http://www.mmaforum.com/elitexc-stri...tt-cokers.html) other MMA promoters that Dana doesnt think is crap. Im betting that they are waiting for EXC to fold, and the two could work something out.

I love Cung Le, seeing him fight it the octagon would be just brilliant for me. He's an amazing striker, and a fine gentleman. I would really like to see this happen, although I realize other things would have to happen before it could be considered.
