Diaz Brothers at it Again

http://mmamania.com/2008/09/19/diaz-...fight-presser/

Does anyone know anything about this? Was anyone at the press conference?

I really enjoy watching the Diaz brothers, but they just have zero respect for anyone so it's hard for me to like them as a fan. Does anyone agree or do you like their angry teen-like behavior?

I want to know what the question was that caused them to go crazy like that. Either way they should act like professionals.

Haha I understand why people dont like them, but i think they're freakin hilarious and both are talented fighters. I think they could still become great fighters since both are still south of 25 and they already have so much talent and experience. But for those of you dont like them jus remember, "**** Casper Gomez and **** the ****in diaz brothers." - Tony Montana.

I don't think it was as bad as it sounds, at least on Nate's part. He was distracted by Nick getting in to an argument, and ended the interview early.

What the argument was about should be the real topic

Clay's "Big Suprise" comment was funny though

Both of these guys are complete retards. Talented fighters, yes... but complete retards.

I think their mom was chowing down on paint chips when they were in the womb.

I learned a long time ago to watch them fight, and go grab a beer for thier post fight interviews.

Easy to like them that way....blissfully ignorant of thier demeanor and attitude that way, and i can pretend they're Franklinesque in the way they conduct themselves outside the octagon

Demian Maia may be the Fred Astaire of jiu-jitsu, but it’s too bad Silva is the Gene Kelly of kicking everyone’s ass.

This is what i found:
Quote:
After a hard fought victory over Josh Neer at Wednesday’s UFC Fight Night 15 in Omaha, Neb., Nate Diaz had reason to be spent. By his own admission, he had met a lot more resistance than expected against the Miletich-trained fighter.

“Josh Neer, he ain’t no black belt in jiu-jitsu like the other guys I’ve been fighting, this dude can fight,” he told Joe Rogan. “All these other jiu-jitsu guys and (expletive), wrestlers, y’all need to learn how to box, man. Get in here and fight us. This dude’s down.”

Post-fight questions about his place in the lightweight division weren’t of much interest, though. Asked where he felt the win placed him in the UFC, he quipped “I don’t know, with a win over Josh Neer? That’s about it.”

With fellow lightweight Clay Guida sitting beside him at the press conference, the two seemed a natural fit for a future fight. But Diaz was noncommittal about that as well.

“Yeah, maybe in the future,” he said. “Him or whatever they got. Whatever they want to do.”

An argument broke out in the background. Diaz’s brother, Nick, was locking horns with officials. Nate’s eyes darted over to the situation.

“I’m just gonna keep training my ass off and keep fighting whoever they give me,” he continued. “Work harder every time. Not like I could work any harder than I did, but I’m just going to keep on doing what I’m doing.”

The volume of the spat increased as Nate tried to split focus.

Then, as quickly as he’d sat down, The Ultimate Fighter Season 5 winner bolted from his seat, following his brother.

“I’m out, man,” he said with a smile.

Guida looked on in Diaz’s wake.

“Big surprise, huh?” he said.

I'm sure there is more to the story then Nick just snapping for no reason. I'ma be a fan of theirs for life.

All the stuff they do out of the cage (ring whatever) makes for excitment in the cage (ring whatever).

WAR DIAZ BROS!!!

This is also an entertainment business too, all they are doing IMO is for publicity, as the saying goes "any publicity, is good publicity".
