Interesting match up.
At this point, I'd take Nate over Bisping no doubt. Marquardt is much stronger and dangerous in all areas. Bisping may have the better standup from a technical or statistical stand point, but Marquardt's aggressiveness and power help balance that. It would be interesting to see if Marquardt would be able to put Bisping on the mat. After all, Bisping did show exceptional composure, getting up after getting taken down by Matt Hammil. But to seal the deal, Marquardt would be much more dangerous in the clinch, leading me to take Nate by 2nd/3rd round stoppage or a UD.
Nate vs. Hendo is a really interesting and difficult fight to call. Both guys match up so well with each other, you'd really have to see the fight to see how they'd collide. Henderson does have good hands, but I think he limits himself by only going for the infamous right hand. If he opened up some more and tried to work some more combinations, he'd have more success. I could see Nate pressuring Hendo with aggressive strikes, but Henderson is a hard man to finish(never been KO'd, I believe) in the strikes department. If it were to hit the mat, which it most likely would, it would be even more interesting. I think Hendo could be confident in taking Marquardt down, as his subs aren't as dangerous as say Palhares. But getting and keeping Marquardt down would indeed be a tough task. On the other hand, Nate could take Dan out of his comfort zone by putting him on his back. If the fight ended up in the clinch, like a lot of wrestler vs. wrestler fights do, it's a toss up really. Once again, aggressiveness vs. technique/power/experience.
Interesting time for the MW division.
