Everyone knows this will be a huge challenge for Couture. He's a smart fighter, however, and has selected a training partner in Carwin that will definitely give him a taste of what he'll have with Lesnar. Lesnar is more explosive, larger, and is learning all the time.

Anything can happen, and as much I'd like to see Couture with his hand raised, I think Lesnar will prove to be too much in the end.

Carwin is a monster and this can only help Randy and maybe more so Shane who has destroyed everyone he has fought in his MMA career and eventually will need to actually fight opponents he cant decimate which Randy can help him with, I really think highly of Carwin and believe he has a very bright future.

i'm discouraged reading this thread, i really think Randy has an excellent chance of outfighting Lesnar if only on the strength of his mental game and well-thought-out training.

Randy could train with a tank and he still wouldn't be prepared for Brock. I fully expect some serious ragdolling in this one. I feel bad for Couture.

Actually, no I don't.

May Brock rip that greedy, lying, backstabbing, dodging, disrespectful, SELLOUT....to little shreds.

I would wish Randy well in his retirement home but I don't think he makes it there in one piece.

May you have a wonderful afterlife Randy.

I'm a little surprised that Randy is considered the underdog here.

Even if he's not at his best as he was against Timmy and Gonzaga, he's still miles ahead of what Brock currently is imo, despite his age.

We'll see how the time off has treated him though i suppose.

Demian Maia may be the Fred Astaire of jiu-jitsu, but it’s too bad Silva is the Gene Kelly of kicking everyone’s ass.

Brock is no dummy either, I heard hes been rounding up two and three guys at a time from the senior center and messing them up all at once.

He'll be more than ready for Couture.
