War Couture. Mark my words, Randy will find a way to win this.

that would be sick. I know his house is huge. I used to work for directv in billing and one time I was searching random names and couture had like 7 directv recievers installed in his house.

Where did all this Couture love come from? Don't we all hate him because of dodging the UFC, lying about money and being a general ass?

Do we really need to go through this again? There is another point of view there and it has been stated on this forum by many people many times.

I hope Carwin is trying to literally kill Couture in their sparring sessions, otherwise he's doing him a huge disservice.

Hey, we still don't know if Shane Carwin totally owns Couture in practice

You know (and call me a hater) Brock and Randy are two fighters I'd like to see loose. No disrespect to any of them, because they are both great fighters, but for me personally that's just the way it is.

Brock because I don't want him to be as talented, strong and destructive (and definately not the next Fedor) as some people say he is. I don't want fighters like Brock to be HW champs, I want him to be way more technical before he accomplishes anything big (my romanticized image of MMA is that technique prevails and Randy winning would be a great example of that).

And I want to see Couture lose, because I've just never been that big of a fan (while everyone else has ben cramming him down my throat). He didn't deserve his HW TS and beating Sylvia and Gonzaga does NOT rank you above either Nog or Fedor.... Dana. I just don't want to see a 44 (?) year old be ranked in the top 3 in the world's toughest sport.

Who do I THINK will win? Well, since I desperately cling on to the "Technique > strenth" theory, I say Randy. IMO he will fend off Brock's takedowns and knock him out via UD or guillotine him as a punishment for a sloppy takedown attempt. But I could see Brock shock the world. I'd be up for that.

Oh and I might add I will most definately watch this. I love potentially great fights, because I think this fight will be exiting as hell, that I don't have a favourite that just "has to" win.

Beautiful choice in partners for couture. Shane Carwin is a monster, and very similar to lesnar. And way more well rounded. A truly great wrestler (not quite on the level of lesnar, but not to far). I expect great things from Shane Carwin, the dude has had 9 fights won all 9 fights by submission or ko. This dude while being reasonably experienced has less than 10minutes of actual fighting in mma.

Couture is a genius when it comes to training and game plans.
