the kimbo/thompson was sketchy...especially when the ref stood them up as thompson got into side control....then when thompson is smashing kimbo w/ elbows, the ref yells "gotta see action"...what?

Seems that he has also signed a new 8-fight deal with the UFC
He definitely sounds off, but he is right about the reffing and the judging.

Fighters should be able to focus on fighting, and if they have to worry about the judges and the refs all of the time then that takes away from the fight.

Ya Karo is pretty lucky you didnt rip his head off,
maybe you cuda judo throwd him as well.
luck lucky Karo,
O totally ahree usa usa usa

on another note, I agree with what Ironman said, to many fighters are fighting for the judges, they dont see it as a fight, more of a judge convincing match, and ya it should be about fighting and not other aspects, the judges need to be more educated in jujitsu, a guy could be sitting in your gaurd while you are workin submission attemps but sinces the other guy is ontop the jujistu guyy loses

I think a nice idea would be to get 3 neutral MMA fighters to judge the bouts. That way they have first hand knowledge of what is going on in the cage

The UFC can afford to lose Karo, he hasn't been a "somebody" in the UFC for a couple of years. Karo was an above average fighter, but as stated above, he has no work ethic or respect for others. I'll guess that this 8 fight deal stops after his next 2 losses. Bank on it.
