Weight cutting

Do any UFC fighters actually not cut 20lbs and fight in their absolute natural weight class (Other than heavy weights)?

A LOT of fighters that appear on The Ultimate Fighter don't fight in their true weight class. They only go up because it's an opportunity. And if they do well, they drop classes when asked back to fight; or are stubborn and stay in that class until they lose. Tons of fighters fall victim to this.

Matt Serra

Both of these fighters have in the past cut weight to fight in a lower weight class, and hopefully both of them will again do so.

Edgar doesn't cut much, if anything, to make 155. I believe he could comfortably cut to FW where he is better off among other things. He had a tough time against Maynard primarily because Gray was bigger man of the two. That's why I believe Edgar has a strenuous time against bigger LW's in the division, especially those that have a potent wrestling base.

Suizida tried to tell me that Jardine's Techno viking monkey style was too much for Vera's overhyped skills but i was to busy nuthugging to listen to 'the truth'
