this was prolly talked about b4...but i think it would work for fans and ufc if they did something about putting the preliminary fights on spike tv so we can see them...I mean wouldn't that bring in more fans plus give us something more to look forward to? what do you all think

Yea I think thats a good idea. But im an mma addict, between ufc/elite/wec/cage rage etc I am still no satisfied :P

I actually stopped buying PPVs because 2-3 times in a row I missed fights I wanted to see because they were on the under card. I still go watch em live at a bar, but I won't pay to see them at my house if im not seeing the fights I want.

I also think this would help the UFC since they bring in a lot of great fighters who have not been exposed to the public. Put these fighters on tv or on the ppv (televise the entire show) and we can start the bandwagons much earlier. With the roster they have now even the undercards are very exciting

Gonzaga vs dos Santos - UFC on VS
Vera vs Jones - UFC on VS
Bibs vs Hansen - Dream 13
GSP vs Hardy - UFC 112
Gomi vs Florian - UFN 21
Nelson vs Struve - UFN 21

Can't you watch them online if you purchase the PPV through the UFC website?

Also, what would the incentive be to buy tickets to go to the show then?

That is where they make most of their money. They aren't going to give you 4-5 more fights for no extra charge. Then when the PPV goes up everyone will bitch about that. The undercards aren't going to sell more PPV's just by being shown. Maybe 10-20 based on family and friends of fighters involved. But I doubt that anyone that is really interested isn't already at most of them.

they definately should start doing this. pride showed all its fights and that didnt effect ppv revenue at all. you go to the live shows because its a great experience, seeing your favirote fighters in person. i've always wanted to go to a live event, hopefully they come back to manchester soon.

right now the only option, is to watch the prelims online the day after the event. fights are nowhere near as good when you know the outcome though.

My current favirote fighters
Anderson Silva
Junior Dos Santos
Mauricio Rua
Alistair Overeem
Jon Jones

Pride also did that throughout their existence, but using companies that failed as an example does not present a strong case for a how-to-run-your-business argument.

Maybe Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac should give seminars on how to lend money.

you have a point there, but i doubt showing all the fights on ppvs would affect business that much. if anything more people would be buying ppvs because you'd get more bang for your buck.

that would make it a +4 hour event...

you know full already that when you buy the ppv you get the main card fights and a few prelim if there is time.....go buy them on ufc.com or steal them off the net somehow if you want to see them....
