Rumor: Diaz vs Guida at TUF 8 Finale!

Nate would take this fight IMO. He is too technical of striker. And Guida wouldn't dare take it to the ground. Thoughts?

Guida wins by decision and takes one more TUF winner down, watch out Joe Daddy.

I am not sure who I am picking yet but I am leaning towards Diaz and I think it is going to be a fun fight.

Guida is a very good fighter and I think he wins this fight. Diaz has a shot of subbing him but Guida will be on top whenever he wants and is way physically stronger and will be able to work a good GNP game and if he doesnt get lazy on top he should win this one. Diaz is probably the better striker but this fight will mostly take place on the floor. Clay has kind of questionable sub defense to me though so I wouldnt bet on this one because Nate is pretty slick.

Yeah i got diaz in this fight. If guida takes him down he is going to have to worry about the subs the whole time. And i give the advantage to diaz in the stand up because he is much longer and more technical. No hair getting in his eyes.

I like both these fighters a lot, but my gut tells me Guida will be too much for Nate. Different skill sets, too be sure, but my money's on Clay.

Uh oh, looks like Guida's position is solidified as a gatekeeper for the UFC lightweight division. I've got Nate by armbar or triangle in the second.

I dont see diaz out striking guida. Mac Danzig is a much better striker then Diaz and he couldnt put it together for that fight it was mainly on the ground. If diaz is going to win this he is going to win it on the ground. The problem is guida out works guys and keeps really tight on the ground so BJJ guys cant really work with guida.

It will be interesting to see how it comes together.
