I've said this before - when Dana signed Silva, he said he'd just signed the new fans favourite. He knew what Silva was capable of.

The reason he looked p*ssed was in yet ANOTHER PPV we see a fighter dismantled in a silly amount of time. The last time that happened he had tp put on a freebie on Spike.

I think he knew Frnaklin may lose, just not that badly.

You know, you are very right. And the other posters are making sense stating Rich was up for a renewal and would cost a lot. I'm leaning towards that theory now. I just prefer to think dana is DUMB and CHEAP...but I guess smart and CHEAP is more likely

Dana White

First off Dana bet half a million on Liddell and lost (what ive heard). I agree he should have bet on his organization...but that was a loosing bet regardless. He shouldnt have sent his fighter over there when he was not ready to take on the competition. Liddell today would stand up better then that, but of course if he was fighting in todays Pride tourny's he would get owned even more than back then.

Now I also agree that Dana is a smart and cheap man. Like it was stated earlier, hes in negotiations and hes a lot cheaper without the belt. I knew the second the fight was announced that Rich "Deuce" Franklin would not last the first round...and I predicted a 2minute knockout. I was pretty close...2:59. hehe

well then why didnt he congradulate him like he usually does?? matt hughes barely squeezed out that fight with bj, he was getting dominted until penn got injured. and dana was acting like matt went out there and put on a clinic. he told him he had never seen anything like him before. so if rich was so good, and so dominate, why didnt dana act impressed or congradulate anderson on his performance. i dont act like i know what he is thinking. i know what i saw, and i asked a question. some of you guys get on here and just type shit without thinking.
