Gonzaga has nice kicks, but his punching is poor.
That wouldn't really matter against Brock though.

Gabe subs Brock any day of the week also.

Tough match-up for Brock, It would be silly for the UFC to make it.
Werdum, Nogueira, Gonzaga and Mir are fights Brock wants to avoid for now.

Fedor fights I want to see..

Fedor vs. Josh Barnett
Fedor vs. Randy Couture
Fedor vs. Tim Sylvia - DEMOLISHED
Fedor vs. Andrei Arlovski - DEMOLISHED

hmmmmm, i wonder how many become reality..

Answer, nope.
Actually the answer is Yes. Heath Herring has a decent striking game he just didn't get to show it because Brock delivered the most one sided decision beatings in MMA history. It may be THE most one sided. Herring almost KOd Nog with a head kick. Gonzaga would do well to try and submit Lesnar but I think Brock would just spank the shit out of him too.

A groan of tedium escapes me...

if brock beats Couture the winner of Nog/Mir is next.

And that was the only thing herring did in the nog fight. Did you not watch the fight? Cause you would have seen herring get beat in the stand up and the ground.

what?

i'm a huge huge Brock fan but that makes you look ridiculous. you ever seen fedor vs. nog 1? now that is a one sided beating. brock showed great control, landed a bomb of a right hand, some nice knee's and the occasional GnP. that's about it.

Yeah Fedor delivered a beating but he didn't finish Nog and Nog put up much more of a defense then Herring did against Brock. I went back and read my post and I meant to call it one of the worst and maybe THE worst. There is room for debate here. For that matter Fedor/Herring was a severe one sided beating. The one fight you brought up is also a severe beating. There have been a few in MMA history, Brock 's beating of Herring was one of the worst beatings in MMA history.

Yeah I'm totally mistaken my bad. Herring is a chump when it comes to striking. Someone should tell him to go back to his "I landed a head kick on Big Nog" club and hang out with all the other shitty strikers in that club.

Do you have that fight? Do you think that if I sent you a blank VHS in the mail you could record it for me?

A groan of tedium escapes me...

Gonzaga definitely has the physical and technical tools to beat Lesnar, but I'm not sure how he would do mentally. Gabe seems to just give up as soon as he doesn't have the upper hand, and I think we can assume that Lesnar would come out strong and fast in the beginning as usual.

Oh no. Not even close. I know Gabe could school Lesnar on the ground and standing up.

But however, if Gabe got cocky and disrespected the power and quickness of Lesnar like Herring did, I could see Lesnar catching him with a cross.

This thread is getting a little ridiculous. Let me start the uproar now... Lesnar will soon be getting the respect he deserves because Couture is the best heavyweight in the UFC and he raped GG. Lesnar is going to beat Couture and continue to improve on his way to becoming the undisputed champion. Just because Mir caught him in a sub doesn mean he is not capable of good sub defense. I am sure that if he gets out of the first round without being subbed he will not get subbed because a man that size with the accumulated sweat of round 1 is going to be pretty difficult to hold onto. Lesnar just has to get his points with his takedowns cuz, lets face it people will not be successful too often trying to sprawl, and Lesnar will win by points. He wont even have to finish anyone cuz he can just take them down and ride them or try to utilize some safe GnP.
