My God, when you want to get rid of the Gonzaga hype you need to use a better killer that gets the roots, otherwise it just grows back. Gonzaga is the best heavyweight bjj guy? He has the best top game?

Watch his fight with Werdum where he is desperate to get back to his feet anytime he lands on top. Gonzaga is good at bjj, but he's no way near the best. I say Nog schools him on the ground.

I have Nog winning both.

Nog won't school him on the ground but I believe he has slightly better BJJ however I think it will be a stalemate on the ground for submissions. I think Nog would do better on points on the ground though.

This is Werdum vs Gonzaga all over again.

Gonzaga stalemate on the ground and Gonzaga being outclassed when his opponent lets his hands go.

Now Jdun no way in hell Gonzaga has the best top game in the HW divison that is Fabricio who seems to mount his opponent everytime he is on top.

And Werdum also has the best HW guard in the world since you can't puch him.

werdum's long leg really help him off his back too...he's probably the only man in the HW division i could see triangling Lesnar given Brock's torso circumfrance

Yea he is amazingly hard to hit and his legs help him a lot.

Also he is a bigger HW so his kimura is great from his guard.

Repped for insightfulness.

This is exactly what I was going to say (- the root killer part), I was utterly shocked to see several people saying Gonzaga's BJJ was better than Nog's. Gonzaga was awful on the ground against Werdum, hje looked terrified and did nothing.

It's not hard to look bad on the ground against a guy as talented as Fabricio.

I'm just wondering guys who looks good against Werdum on the ground.

I mean people give Nog credit for not getting subbed in Werdum's guard and getting out of a bad spot when Werdum was gonna take his back. Cut Gonzaga a break.
