i'm sorry but i'm going to have to stop you right there. that is complete and utter bullshit. i've rewatched this fight many many times, as it's one of my favourites in ufc history.
the first round was VERY close...as Lytle was hit by that right hand that caused the cut, and dropped on another occasion. not to mention the leg kicks...lytle pushed forward w/ wild punches and kicks, but nothing flush was landed whatsoever.close round to call, probably lytle. no biggie, alves is renowned as a slow starter.
second round was all thiago. massive kicks that has lytle limping badly. sure, lytle pushes forward w/ his flurries, but aside from a swollen eye, thiago is no worse for the wonder. this round was much more decisive, all thiago.

and this is just as bad. manhandling him?? why are people throwing around words like dominate, manhandled, mauling....it's getting stupid
the first round was very uneventful, thiago, trying to find his range and karo muscling him down, doing no damage on the ground. thiago gets up and karo trips him at the end.
