Yes because staying active in the gaurd constantly looking to pass constantly throwing elbows, shoulders, and knees during the transitions is lay and pray.

Guess I should go watch Brock Lesnar vs Heath Herring again NOW THAT WAS GROUND ACTION! (Note the sarcasm)

BUt seriously why are you so down on Guida the guy is constantly active on the ground and its not his problem if his wrestling is to damn good for his opponents to deal with. Your starting to sound like Junie Allen Browning on wednesdays episode of TUF lol j/m j/m. But seriously he s a pretty active down there compared to most fighters.

That being said if Batmans tank isnt full for this fight i see Guida taking this via 2nd round GNP stoppage.

I like Guida and Pelligrino alot and I think this is a much better match then the earlier rumored Guida v. Diaz which I thought Diaz would win much like he did against....Pelligrino
I pray this opens the door for Joe Lauzon v. N. Diaz...please GOD!

Pelligrino v. Guida is good solid matchmaking. Pelligrino coming off fight of the night honors beating Tavares and Guida has proven the win or lose he will bring it. Damn. I knew the minute I saw Danzig v. Guida that Guida would win. I dunno here. Damn....the only thing I can say is I think Pelligrino will get the better of the striking. Guida may nullify that with takedowns. This fight could go either way.

Is it the new cool thing to say that Clay Guida is a LnP fighter?

I see Guida just outworking Pellegrino, but Kurt's a tough guy and this isn't a step back for Clay. Both guys could be contenders, both guys have almost tasted contender status, but both have never been able to achieve it yet.
