If Lutter could take Silva down unharmed Im sure Lesnar can too. I like Silva alot, but these bullrush comments are just dumb. Brock would take Silva down and TKO him, or atleast win by UD.

Lesnar is huge so that would be tough but idk who would win.
I think I would pick Brock by UD but Anderson could submit him.

Werdum subs Anderson just do to size and submission skill.

Kongo gets beat by Anderson. I've never been impressed by Kongo's stand up.

Hardonk vs Anderson would be interesting and I think Anderson would pull it off.

Velasquez takes him down and beats him IMO. Cain is a good grappler and he would take Anderson down at will.

Gonzaga beats Anderson just again due to size and submission skill.

Sylvia vs Silva is hard to call Sylvia has a huge size advantage so idk who wins that.

Arlovski beats Anderson mostly because he would have way too much power for Anderson to stand and trade against.
I like this list, pretty much what I would say.

I think Sylvia is too damn slow to beat Silva standing even with the strenght and reach advantage. I could see it being similiar with Fedor vs. Sylvia fight, except it would prolly go to R2 or even to decision because Silva doesn't hit as hard as Fedor and Randy do to drop Timmy like that. Plus he prolly wouldn't go at Timmy as aggressively like Fedor did.

Ill admit, I only remember the strikes to the balls in the Cro Cop fight because it was so boring that I could not bear myself to watch and pay attention. But his fight with Evensen was on spike 2 hours ago, he is soooo flat footed throughout the entire fight. I dunno, maybe its a background in mauy thai and kickboxing so I will notice it but he looks so unnatural when he moves. Cro Cop isn't light on his fight either, but he moves with a steady pace atleast. Kongo just doesn't get in a groove and like I said looks like he is very uncomfortable with his footwork. Look at AA, now that is quality footwork. Hell even Lesnar has better.

I still can't believe people don't seem to understand that there are weight classes for a reason. A bigger fighter has to have less talent than a smaller fighter to win.

Lol, I wasn't referring to overall stand up. He just moves on his feet better I think, especially for his size. And no I am not one of these guys that have their eyes so deep in Lesnars nuts that they cannot see anything else, Kongo's standup just pops out to me.

It's because informed people know that lighter division guys can't beat the Heavyweights outright. The thought is if they were the same weight who would win? Come on people the days of light fighters beating heavy fighters are gone.
Thats funny coz i think its ignorant to think Anderson couldn't beat any current mma heavyweight.

Im not saying he would. I would like to think he would beat most of them but i dont really know.

I would also really like to see one of these fights

I cant believe some of the things i have read. Silva is a 185 fighter who has beaten a guy whos o.k and 205 and now people say he can beat Arlovski? I think silva would get beaten by fighters at 205 such as Rampage and Machida and people on this forum have wrote he would beat Arlovski, what a joke. Arlovski would Murder him and im sure people like Gonzaga, Werdum, Sylvia, Nog and Lesnar would also murder him. People need to understand weight classes are there for a reason. Just because he walks around at a certain weight does not mean he can be as good at that as he is at his fighting weight.

I beleive Anderson Silva is the best fighter in the world, the only competition would of course be Fedor, but I completely agree... in experienced or not even The Spider would have his hands full with a machine like Brock. Though I do think in 10 fights Silva wins 9 of them, but has to really REALLY fight past that size.

Anderson Silva said himself in an interview that he cuts from 213. He looked good at 205 against a KO Puncher so how would he do against these guys?

1. Randy would more that likely get knocked out due to his wild striking style.

2. Nog is pretty slow so he would probably get a 3 or 5 round beating and lose by D.

3. Lesnar is way to strong, this would be a GnP victory for Lesnar.

4. Werdum is very good on the ground and probably fast enough and strong enough to get him to the ground and win by sub.

5. Kongo is a big dude with very good striking technique, I don't think Silva would be able to outstrike him even with better technique. Kongo by D.

6. Hardonk is too slow and would probably get hurt by some leg kicks then get knocked out in later rounds.

7. Velasquez Vs Silva would be similar to Lesnar vs Silva, Cain is just too strong and has a very good GnP. I say GnP victory for Velasquez.

8.Gonzaga would also probably be able to muscle around Silva and probably win by D by ground control.

9. Tim would get knocked out......

10. Arlovski Vs Silva is a very good match and one I would love to see, I believe Arlovski is strong and fast enough to nutralize any of Silva's strengths, AA by TKO.
