QFT!
I think Shogun (If healthy) can beat Anderson Silva the same way he beat Lil Nog & Overeem(the second fight), and that's by dropping vicious bombs on his face while he's on the ground. Shogun just has to watch for that up kick.

Both Griffen and Evans would have a very good chance and beating Silva IMHO. Of course both are LHW and both are large.

What about Malvin Manhoef? Honestly I would give so much to see them fighting. Manhoef is a beast and the only fighter at 185 who could stand and trade with Anderson.
What do you think?

I doubt Evans is bigger then Silva, Andy cuts down from 220 that is a huge MW. I wouldnt give evans a shot though, but I could see Forrest outworking him.

I also think Machida, Shogun, and Rogerio would be tough matchups for him. But none pose all the problems that Arona does.

Not by much! Its not like Anderson has maxed out his frame. He looked pretty big at 205.
Fair enough though....hopefully it happens eventually. That is, afterall, the reason they fight right....to answer these questions?

Lol at not giving Evans a shot.
People I think could beat Anderson, and can actually fight him (Meaning, not to heavy for catchweight)
EVANS, Machida (won't happen), Chuck (his style is perfect for Anderson), Vera (call me crazy, I see a flash KO), Wandy (but that won't happen), Shogun (but I doubt that would happen), and last but not least, Sokky (He does while against huge name fighters for some reason) And Nate in a rematch.
People I don't give a chance to, Forrest, Rampage, Jardine, Henderson (I really want to believe, but if I really think about it... lol), Tito but he's not UFC anymore.
And for the record, I don't think GSP stands a chance. I think the fight would be similiar to Anderson vs. Franklin 2, with GSP doing... well?... for a second, then getting outclassed.

maybe Arona in 04'-06' does he still fight?, last i heard he has been just surfing in hawaii.
I still think silva would take it, he would use great gameplan, control the clinch and standup, If Arone could get the fight to the ground he probly would stand a chance.
Man I miss his fights, the guy did better against fedor than anyone ever has.
The only person i could think of is if Emerson moved up to middleweight

I disagree with that, I couldnt see Chuck surviving the first round with anderson, anderson would pick him apart with straight inside punches, he would submit chuck on the ground, he would destroy him in the clinch, he is probably better than chuck in every aspect.
I do think an 03' Wanderlai would do pretty good

As much as I respect him, GSP is a longshot to beat a fighter with the size, strength, and length of an Anderson Silva.
Keep in mind, GSP is much bigger and rangier than just about every welterweight out there. He is taller at 5'10", and has a superior reach at 76". Add to that his superior strength, strategic and intellectual preparation prior to a match, and it's not difficult to see why he would be able route the entire division.
But Silva manhandled Rich Franklin twice, and defeated Dan Henderson (who Randy Couture claims has a "gorilla grip").
Advantage (decisively) to Silva.
