Why is machida being spoke of as anderson silva,or fedor like he is unbeatable or something i just dont see him at that level yet and I think couture could beat him. Couture is a very smart fighter and I think he would be able to come up with a good gameplan

People on this forum and Sherdog usually rate Machida in their top 5, the hardcore even in their top 3. He is undefeated and for some reason people like him more than Rashad Evans. There is dominance in almost every division so some fans want to think of Machida as the #1 answer for the complicated LHW division.

Tito may not have an iron grip, but Machida was spinning away from those clinch situations like they were nothing! His camp also has two champions, so who's to say that Machida doesn't have good game plans coming into fights too? I think Machida would win this one by decision or submission.

Machida didn't KO tito. He almost got trianlge choked by him. Randy could take him now. Once you get a hold of him he will fold like a cheap chair. And thats what randy would do. Use angles and cut the cage off till he cornered him and take him down and beat him

This would be Machida/Tito II. I like Randy a lot, but this would have been Machida's fight. The thing is, Randy would have to get Machida down to beat him as Machida's striking is much better. Tito couldn't get close to doing so, in fact, Tito was taken down himself.
We all know Randy's wrestling is above Tito, no question, but to even try to impose his will he would need to get close enough to Machida....... how?
On the flip side, I love me some Randy Couture and he always has a chance.
Machida via UD.

Can he beat a legit contender ( without weight advantage) before he is considered one of the best ever. Seriously.

People act as if Machida can't be taken down. Sokky tooking him down at will (although he always got swept), why wouldn't Randy be able to. And Randy survived Jacare, so yeah I don't think Machida would sub him.
