So let me get this straight, Hughes is last in this poll? He is cleary the best welterweight in UFC, allthough I agree that Penn and GSP are awesome and capable fighters, they don't stand up to Hughes, which is why I beleive that Hughes will crush GSP at Bad Intentions.

BJ and ST. Pierre are def. the best WW in UFC..

As much as i like Hughes, he has been getting punished by Both ^ Fighters..

look at his 1st match with Pierre, Pierre had him all those rounds, and def. put a hurting on Hughes, Pierre just made a mistake against an experienced fighter and Hughes took it

BJ vs Hughes.... BJ dominated him totally all 2 rounds, but how does he lose? seperated his goddam ribs, then Hughes got lucky and capitalized

my point, if u watched those fights, that shows that the WW Champ is not dominant enough... just like Franklin

a True Champ like, Fedor does not face difficulty when faced against his Oppenents...

GSP was winning the ONLY round not rounds. We have seen Matt come back from worse. I do give Matt the win in that with without excuse.

This will be a different fight. I think that GSP is no longer star struck when he looks at Matt and just to make things worse, Matt has pissed him off to the point where it might get personal.

Bad call in my mind, GSP is a very nice guy that is VICOUS when just "doing his job" in the ring. Getting him mad and making him want to REALLY HURT you, might have been a bad strategy, at least I hope.

I have been going back and forth between them for a while now and I want Georges to win, but I don't think its going to happen. This may be a PPV I accually pay for instead of watching it the day after on you tube.

BJ Penn would be the greatest if they fought 2 5 minute rounds and his stamina did not come into play.
I think GSP will beat hughes and therefore i vote for him as the greatest, but he still has to beat Matt

I voted for st.pierre he has the skills to become the next champion, however beating Matt is no easy victory the guy doesn't know when to quit and indeed his skills keep improving.

Why is there a Poll on this? everyone knows that Hughes is the best fighter in the welterweight division, and he proves it time and time again, and he will once more when he beats GSP.....what the other guy said this is more of a who is your favorite poll
