If the fight goes to the ground, I believe Fedor will win. He will finish that kimura Roy Nelson attempted.

AA did not destroy Werdum, and if it happened again i would bet on werdum, and he would not destroy gonzaga either, maybe win, but definitely close

I say keep sending over previous UFC Champions so Fedor can beat them. After AA I want to see Barnett next and then Coutore.

This is great
Fedor has already beaten 4 UFC heavyweight champions: Big Nog, Tim Sylvia, Mark Coleman, Kevin Randleman.

And try watching his most recent fights with Affliction/EXC. Arlovski looks like a total reborn fighter now that he's moved on from the UFC. In fact, he looks better than he ever did at UFC, especially his boxing. I agree with you that he looked unimpressive during his last fights with the UFC, I don't fault UFC for not paying him big money as his performance did not merit it, plus Affliction overpaid for him.

I'd like to see him back with the UFC one day. But first, I'm really looking forward to seeing him fight Josh Barnett and then Fedor if he gets by Barnett.

If he beats Fedor, the UFC will probably be begging him to come back. But thats a big IF.

I still don't think he's back to his old self. You can see he's overly cautious of being hit. If Nelson had more stamina who's to say what would have happened. I'm sorry but for all I'd like him to be back, it's not the same guy. Barnett or Fedor, I predict AA to get KO'd.

Zender knows where it's at.

Arlovski got rocked by Nelson, how quick is Fedor compaired to Nelson?

His takedown defence is really quite weak lately.

Original poster, saying Werdum didn't do anything to Arlovski so Nog couldn't is silly. Did you see Werdums gameplan in that fight? It was all over the place, he was trying to chase Arlovski with punches/slaps and get a good start in the UFC.

Would Nogueira do what Werdum did in that fight?? No way!!! Therefore you just CANNOT use that. It doesn't make sense to use that. Nogueira doesn't chase people like that and let himself get countered... Nogueira could get the fight to the floor against Arlovski for sure, from there he can finish him.

You say "Let's be honest" like Nogueira is rubbish or something, I think you are severely underrating him here. And possibly overrating Arlovski. The WEAK takedown defence is his biggest problem.

EDIT: I don't think AA vs. Fedor will be a good fight. Why?
Because I believe Fedor will maul him. Am I excited for this? Hell yes!
It's in my signature after all.

Fedor fights I want to see..

Fedor vs. Josh Barnett
Fedor vs. Randy Couture
Fedor vs. Tim Sylvia - DEMOLISHED
Fedor vs. Andrei Arlovski - DEMOLISHED

hmmmmm, i wonder how many become reality..

Honestly I think Fedor's stand up is better than AA's and obviously his ground game is better. I like AA alot but January 24th is gonna be a longggg night for him.
