IMO he would destroy any H/W in the ufc with the exception of Lesnar due to his sheer size so that would be an interesting match up. Im sure people will say Nog could beat him but lets be honest i doubt he could. As much as I respect Nog, if werdum couldn't do anything against him then im sure Nog would also struggle. Arlovski is an animal at H/W and since he left the ufc he has won all his fights with a great win against Rothwell. I also believe he will being the biggest threat to Fedor and believe he has the a great chance of betaing him when the 2 meet in jan. UFC BRING HIM BACK!!!!

That's like watching a Tito highlight and saying he would destroy all LWH in the UFC. Its not the same Tito and its not the same Arlovski. Instead of watching highlights, watch his last 4 fight in the UFC.

Ok his last 4 ufc fights. He beat 2 world class BJJ guys in Werdum and Cruz. He lost a decision to Sylvia and beat Jake Obrien. O'Brien had just beaten Herring so he had momentum coming into the fight and Werdum was the pride star who now many people say deserve a title shot. its not a rebirth because he didn't go on a mass loosing spree before he left the ufc, he won his last 3 fights in the ufc and has since won 2 fights, so you comparing him to Tito Ortiz is just ridiculous

It's already been announced that AA is fighting Fedor on the next Affliction card so you'll get to see that match-up then plus win or lose he could then take on Barnett for a big paycheck there too.

Plus as long as Affliction can keep paying him as much as he is making and stay in business I doubt he would want to come back right now.

Yeah your right, but at the same time his fights with Sylvia are what killed him. he let boring ass Tim Sylvia make him a boring fighter, and he neve became himself again after those fights. He was an exciting fighter before. His last couple fights werent bad, and like you said he did get by Werdum who is a great fighter...if he can get by Fedor, I can see him coming into the UFC for a blockbuster deal type of fight, but I just don't know if he can beat Fedor...I want to see them both go ***** on each other's asses! I have been hoping for this match up for awhile.

I just love it.

At this point Fedor has beaten to UFC heavy weight champs, Big Nog and Tim Silvia. Now he gets a chance to beat Andrei A. I am 100% sure Fedor will win this fight. So now he would have beaten 3 UFC champions.

I say keep sending over previous UFC Champions so Fedor can beat them. After AA I want to see Barnett next and then Coutore.

This is great

Zender knows where it's at.

Arlovski got rocked by Nelson, how quick is Fedor compaired to Nelson?

His takedown defence is really quite weak lately.

Original poster, saying Werdum didn't do anything to Arlovski so Nog couldn't is silly. Did you see Werdums gameplan in that fight? It was all over the place, he was trying to chase Arlovski with punches/slaps and get a good start in the UFC.

Would Nogueira do what Werdum did in that fight?? No way!!! Therefore you just CANNOT use that. It doesn't make sense to use that. Nogueira doesn't chase people like that and let himself get countered... Nogueira could get the fight to the floor against Arlovski for sure, from there he can finish him.

You say "Let's be honest" like Nogueira is rubbish or something, I think you are severely underrating him here. And possibly overrating Arlovski. The WEAK takedown defence is his biggest problem.

EDIT: I don't think AA vs. Fedor will be a good fight. Why?
Because I believe Fedor will maul him. Am I excited for this? Hell yes!
It's in my signature after all.

I think Arlovski's definitely got the technical stand up to beat Fedor via cut or KO, I don't recall Fedor ever facing someone with the boxing skills of Andrei.
However Fedor is a very smart fighter and always has a good gameplan. Plus Arlovski's gonna have to be very elusive as he doesn't have the chin to hang power wise with Fedor. He was on his way down via a jab from Rizzo before the second punch landed in their fight.
Either way it's gonna be an awesome fight, could go either way but I'm leaning towards Fedor.

I like Arlovski not currently in the UFC. Potential fights with Fedor and Aleks Emelianenko(One of which is already set to happen), Josh Barnett and other top Heavyweights.

I would like to see Nogueira Vs Arlovski though, an intriguing match up.

Arlovski needs to work more on his ground game. He was in trouble on the ground against big country and Jake Obrien. Do we honestly think that he can defend the ground attack of a Fedor/Couture/Lesanr? Those guys will make sure once he's on the ground he stays there.

As far as Aleksander, I wouldn't call him a "fantastic" heavyweight, since he's never beaten a top heavyweight.
