Which UFC legend is the most overrated?

I personally feel that Ken Shamrock is highly overrated and given way too much credit as a pioneer of MMA. Who is the most overrated UFC “legend?”

Tank Abbott, Dan Frye, Dan Severn, Mark Coleman, Royce Gracie?

I agree with Ken.

It sucks that I liked him most in the WWF.

Just because Ken sucks now doesn't mean he sucked then. In fact he was really good back then.

Watch some of his Pancrase fights, theyre amazing. In fact, he did Pancrase well before he did UFC.

I personally think that Tank Abbott is way more overrated then Ken Shamrock is. Ken Shamrock used to be a great fighter i dont see how that could be overrated.

I know Ken is a mess now, but he was the man back when he first started. Tank definitely has my vote.

Edit: Two people basically said the same thing while I was typing this.

Yeah Tank for sure. Even in his prime, he lost once every 2 or 3 fights. His record is 9-14. That doesn't look too legendary.

Im going to say something and hopefully no one gets cranky but, what if Randy couture gets manhandled by Lesnar, fights Fedor gets destroyed, fights Nog same results. That would make him 16 wins 11 loses does that sound like a legend? I dont know.

Ken, at least, used to be talented. Tank has always sucked, but the guy has been in some great fights and could pull out the fun performance every once in a while. Still, it's Tank freakin' Abbott, the guy's cardio was shit and he got punched in the face a lot. Ken Shamrock gave us the Lions Den, which was the greatest camp ever. Dude gets props over here.

But, holy shit, if we're talking fighters whose fights are overrated, you have to give it to Dan Severn. That guy has been in some of the worst fights ever. Then again, so has Ken Shamrock.

I wouldn't call Tank the most overrated UFC legend today, because most people realize that he wouldn't have a chance against a modern MMA fighter even if he was in his prime.

My vote goes to Royce Gracie. There are still people who says he would have submitted most current UFC fighters with ease. Come on, the guy submitted fighters who didn't know there was such a thing as ground game, but still deliberately took him down with their boxing gloves and shoes on. He's got exactly one submission win since the early UFCs, and his wrestling and standup is a joke.
