Nice to see Bonnar back! Just one question! Who is Jon Jones?

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

This is a great fight for JOnes to make a name for himself, but i dont understand what it does for Stephan Bonnar in terms of moving up the ranks.

Jon Jones shocked me when he beat Andre Gusmao who I think is very good. I think Bonnar vs Jones is interesting and I would pick Jon.

Congrats to ToeZup this is a pretty big fight.

I think Bonnar's going to expose this guy on the ground. You can't train for one year on the ground and expect to do well against guys that have been doing that very same thing for years. Unless you're BJ Penn of course..

BTW Jones probably has the longest reach I've ever seen. I mean a LHW with a 84 inch reach.

Think? Or thought?

Because I used to think he was very good prospect, but that performance seriously disapointed me like I'm sure it did for you.

But yeah, the upside to that fight was Jon Jones.. A little green, but alot of raw talent/athletic ability.

Looking forward to seeing how he has progressed.

Likewise with Bonnar.

Tend to agree with F>A, I think Bonnar can sub him.

Fedor fights I want to see..

Fedor vs. Josh Barnett
Fedor vs. Randy Couture
Fedor vs. Tim Sylvia - DEMOLISHED
Fedor vs. Andrei Arlovski - DEMOLISHED

hmmmmm, i wonder how many become reality..

I still think Gusmao is pretty good I think Jones was just a tough match up for him. He's long and has good wrestling so it was tough for Andre. I was disappointed but he deserves another chance IMO.

I don't know if Bonnar will be able to get Jones down and Jones has some real potential on his feet. This fight will have a lot to do with how much he grows as a fighter.

He's young and raw but has some serious potential(as others have said)- he pulled some crazy moves against Gusmao and a lot of them worked. Here's that fight:

I don't necessarily think that Bonnar needs to get Jones down although that is obviously where he has the biggest advantage. Bonnar's standup has improved a lot and it was never awful to begin with.
