Thales Leites had bad moments on his preparation for his next fight in UFC. Getting ready to come back at Fight Night 15th edition, Thales saw was surprised with two injuries, from Goran Reljic and Dean Lister, that took him out of the event, putting him back at UFC 90 against Reljic, but he got injured again and Thales now has another opponent: Drew McFedries. “One more time… People told me that yesterday, Goran hurt his ribs, I think, and now they put me against Drew McFedries”, said Thales, who studied his new opponent’s game.
“I saw one fight on the internet, his last one. I think he’s explosive, almost all his fights ends on the first round, winning or losing. He’s left-handed, a good point, because I was training to face another left-handed (Reljic), so my training won’t change”, said the Nova União athlete, who wants another victory, the fifth in a row, to go after a change against Anderson Silva for the middleweight belt.
