I started to dislike him after the Matt Hamill fight. It's normal to accept a win, even if you don't deserve it. He showed absolutely negative class in the process. I remember when Rampage won against Ninja Rua, and he didn't relish his win at all because he knew that he didn't deserve it. Rampage is a trash talk veteran, and he could be humble taking a controversial win. I don't care where a fighter is from. Fedor is my favorite, and I'm American. I can only watch Bisping hoping that his head gets knocked off.

Favoring a fighter because of nationality happens everywhere to some degree anyways. Whenever I watch Cage Rage, every non-UK fighter gets booed as they walk out. Any international sport is bound to bring out at least mild patriotism.

he won the decision, deserved? maybe not, but you cant really expect a fighter to apologize when the judges made the call. sure his comment about how hamill should go back to wrestling were unnecessary but his conduct has been spot on since......so get over it

Firstly, how someone can hate a fighter for winning a judges decision is beyond me. After all, GSP won a decision over BJ Penn which i feel was undeserved, but i dont hate the guy. GSP also hasnt (to the best of my knowledge) admitted that he didnt win that fight. (and before people start yelling "but GSP won that fight, Bisping didnt win his!! when the fight doesnt get finished, its down to peoples opinion as to who won) He also disrespected Matt Hughes in the Octagon after Hughes' win over BJ Penn. Yet people still curl their tongues around his balls.
There's always got to be "bad-guys" for people to trash, and Bisping is an easy target. Give it a couple of years and the haters will have found another witch to burn at the stakes.
I wouldnt pay too much attention to who hates Bisping though, cos i'm sure as hell he wont care about who hates you

Dude GSP won that fight.....and I guess looking at it subjectively, the fight was still close enough not to be considered a robbery like the Hamill fight.
But I read tons of Bisping's interviews, this guy just has an annoying attitude. It's like he TRIES to be humble, but ALWAYS has to have some underlining praise of himself. He can never put himself down or BEGIN to. Just read his interviews and you'll understand why.

I'm gonna give you credit for apologizing- many people don't do that when they think they are wrong or said something the wrong way.
Your first post did come out pretty negative with a lot of assumptions. My favorite fighter is GSP and it would piss me off to no end when crowds would chant "USA USA" during his early fights- thankfully many have opened their eyes and you hear more "GSP" chants during his fights even in America.
I can't stand Tito and BJ is getting very close to that statis every time his opens his idiotic piehole. I loves me some Chuck but Wand is my other favorite fighter. Some Americans just root for Americans but true fans of the sport just root for fighters they admire or like regardles of background.
I'll disagree with you completely about Hamill though- anyone who fights without the benefit of hearing instructions from their corner has my complete respect and admiration. He has to make eye contract with his corner to receive any input and that is a disadvantage.
With Bisping I've gone back and forth I started off liking him but he's treatment of Hamill on the show and afterwards has turned me off on him. I don't hate him I just pretty much neutral towards him right now. If he matures more I might start liking again but we'll see.

I find it hard to dislike Bisping seeing as he's sort of representing England etc, but I've found him to be an embarrassment at times in the past.
Obviously the antics after the Hammill fight, the 'you better watch your back' in one of his post fight interviews and his general cocky attitude. For ages now he's obviously been being advised and tries to be humble but I can still see through it.
I find the whole promotion of him a bit hard to take because I know it's only a matter of time before he gets beat badly. The Evans fight didn't really tarnish him too much and there was always that new promotion line of him dropping to middleweight when he lost. I'm just waiting for the UFC Bisping bandwagon to crash because I know there are plenty of guys at middleweight who would beat him.
The whole British hero thing makes me cringe too

Why do u hate bisping but yet again you praise people like penn, tito, chuck, who are full of it, and think they are better than they are. And people think hamill is so amzin cos he fought defness to be in this sport. so wat big deal, its not that massive an accomplishment. this is ridiculous

I agree completely. And I like Bisping, Leben is my favorite fighter though so Saturday I'll be cheering against Bisping for the first time. Honestly though, the best outcome in my eyes would be for those two to put on a match that is FIGHT OF THE YEAR quality. They do that, and it won't matter who wins.
Other than that, the hate for Bisping kind of reminds me of the WWF in the late 90's. I'm sure some people on here remember Bret Hart, being cheered madly in Canada, and hated in the states... I think Bisping has be burdened or blessed with that role in the UFC with Englad and the U.S.. For promotion sake, he should play on it. It would be good for him.

His attitude and arrogance pisses me off.
And for someone who has fought a lot of bums, he talks a lot of shit
I'm starting to like Leben on the other hand. He's seems to have really turned his life around. I think he'll come out on top this weekend
