Sadly not. The only way you can watch it with Sky is if you sign up to setanta sports. and although theres no minimum term contract, there is a connection fee, and you also have to give 31 days to unsubscribe.

So for the ppv, youre probably looking at around £15 for month 1, £15 for month 2, and a connection fee of around £15 too. So around £50 altogether.

Yeah, the UFC hasn't really hit Australia. I was speaking to someone that thought it went to someone is KOed and no rules exist.

Due to this, lack of showing in bars.

Luckily a few of my friends all pitch in on PPV' and go to one of their houses with Foxtel.

Dont get me wrong there good fights but i wouldnt pay $40 to see them! They normally show free ufc events on fuel tv but now they want us to pay for it on ppv and there showing it a day delayed when we would normally get them live, im guessing its a day delayed becuz of pavlik vs hopkins...still! BS! Looks like im downloading this event!

Haha theres my 2 cents, feel better now
I hope you feel better! Put blame where it is due. It's not the UFC making the call on prices for Aus. You'd know that if you thought before you ranted

When I read a complaint that it was free everywhere else and not in AUS......I considered that a complaint about price. Free vs. pay Either way, still the wrong ones to put blame on

Don't blame the UFC blame your cable company/TV stations.

if they can't get it aired on a station they have to put it on PPV.

They would prefer to put it on a channel and get the ad revenue.

my understanding is that we do have a tv station that plays ufc events like UFN and TUF, i watch them whenever there on! so why wouldnt they play this card on that channel?

because it's live. Stations have a problem showing live events like this that are difficult to sensor out anything that doesn't meet their rating standard.

If it's on Tape delay I don't really know.

The UFC LOVES to get on free TV.
