I honestly think that he liked his coaching experience in TUF. I think he will retire on his prime as a legend, and coach.

I also predict that his coaching in TUF will definitly make team Nogueira win.

Anderson is a great champ. I can understand why he'd leave. He seems like a nice guy, and I'm not to sure he likes to dominate as much as he does.

Think about it, because of him, the MW division is now pretty small, because Anderson beat the best of the best, and not only did he beat them, he devastated them.

I don't think he likes to hurt peoples feelings.

Quite abrupt, but better gone at the height of your career rather than the bottom. I would assume money could be a fore-front issue here, but I'm more than sure he's set from a financial standpoint. Great fighter that will go down as one of the most emphatically sound strikers who ever lived.

Suizida tried to tell me that Jardine's Techno viking monkey style was too much for Vera's overhyped skills but i was to busy nuthugging to listen to 'the truth'

Good post. Too add to that, being a full time MMA fighter is obviously real tough.

If he doesnt have the motivation to continue the day in day out regime then its a good time to retire. Im assuming that this might be a big part of his decision.

Seems like he's pulling a George Costanza, "leaving on a high note".

****, I really don't want this to be true. I love watching Anderson fight, he's unreal. He just needs to lose so that he has something to be motivated about. I really want Cote to pull off the upset, just so we can see Anderson go on another tear.

How cool would it be if he started coaching Rich Franklin? lol
