The new UFC banners featuring...

Rashad Evans.

No, this is not more nuthuggery from me, this is an observation. A lot of the sites I go to, where I see UFC banners, are all featuring Rashad in them.

Could it be that the UFC is making a push so that, in case Evans wins, he'll be one of the new posterboys of the UFC?

I'm kinda confused about the link, you're showing that when you search for Rashad Evans you get a bunch of Rashad Evans videos?

That's not a link Cornbread. When you type certain words the forum automatically highlights them in green and links to different searches and advertisements. Just ignore that part.

This move is not surprising to me. Much like Forrest Rashad is proof that the show works and can find top talent. I personally dislike Rashad and bet against him each time, but the man has made me lose more money than anyone. Rashad has beaten a former LHW champ via insane KO, he hasn't "lost" to anyone, and in his fights he is almost never, if ever, in any danger of losing the fight. I'd start setting him up to be a poster boy as well.

I think that after this guy offed their aging goldenboy Chuck decisively, Zuffa realized there was a serious chance Rashad could be LHW champ someday. And despite being on TUF he's still not that well-known of a fighter... to really get their money's worth out of him Zuffa needs to promote him BEFORE he takes the LHW title from griffin (and regardless of the chances of that, they need to prepare for the possibility).

Everybody good, plenty of slaves for my robot colony?

Rashad is pretty good, and has a lot of potential, but he has way too many decisions in his win column right now. He really needs to finish fights to be a big draw, even if he gets the title someday.
