Fame is so fleeting in the UFC. This guy was the King of Las Vegas in '06 and part of '07, especially after he knocked out Tito Ortiz for a second time. And he became a minor celebrity in mainstream media as well (ESPN, HBO appearances).

But, the sport just advances so quickly, and Chuck's non existent defense plus younger opponent's faster hands have made his downhill slide in the LHW division quick, nasty, and abrupt.

If Liddell doesn't stop fighting soon, he'll wind up with the same tarnished legacy as a Ken Shamrock.
