Damn Sokky, train cardio. I dont get why he doenst use his judo, maybe he is so sokky/cocky that he wants to win standing. But I like him, his kicks were so cool.#

I was dissapointed by taylor. I thought he has better striking but he had serious problems with lytles swings. His skills shown through sometimes though.

Iam glad that jardine won that fight because I dont like Vera and I think Vera has made the fight boring.

Bisping clearly won the fight. Chris Cabbage Leben looked like he wanted to get hit. Most of his punches were blocked by Bisping.

I was surprised that 90% of the fights were on the feet. No one wanted to fight on the ground.

First post on here so here goes ...

Bisping Hate: Makes me look forward to the next series of TUF. I'm sure there will be some good US / UK / Anti-Bisping banging of the drums going on then.

Thought he performed well and clearly won the fight. No different to the Griffin / Jackson, Machida / Whoever and Kenflo / Huerta gameplans - not sure where the criticism on here comes from.

Tough match for him next time around against Hendo though (assuming this happens) - taking into account Hendo's (superior to Leben) one punch power and wrestling / G&P adding a dimension that Leben never showed. If he beats Hendo he deserves to be talked about as a MW contender.

I agree with your post and yes I think Kelly could make 155. Fantastic fight.

But why did you think Jard/Vera was lackluster? Again, not calling you stupid at all. I loved the fight but I'm a Jardine fan but if that had been 2 different LHW and they had put on that show as the Co-Main event, I would be happy. I thought Vera had some great counter strikes and Jardine was stalking and striking nicely as well. We got to see Jardine deviate from the normal game plan with takedowns. I mean damn, we got to see back to back knockdowns with 1 being the first time Vera is ever dropped and the other being Jardine. As a Jardine fan, its never fun to see a "Jardine Buckle". Its like he's a goddamn fainting goat or something.

But in this fight he got back up!

A groan of tedium escapes me...

Some of the bisping haters made me laugh. If he won buy a brutal highlight reel knockout then you guys would call it a lucky punch and find something to nit pick about him.

I'm not a Bisping hater. In fact i'm his supporter. But the truth is he didn't win that fight, and i have no freaking idea how one of the judges could give him all three rounds
Leben was more agressive, was controlling the octagon ( angles) better, was landing more combinations and he did few good takedowns.
Those guys scoring the fight (it's hard to call them judges) gave Bisping decision just because that was in the UK and maybe because Leben's face was more messed up (but was that a boxing scoring or mma scoring dammit?).
Shame.
Bad for the UFC...
